Jakob just elects to put everyone in oxygen debt. Even he admits his strength is at the 3000m to 2 mile distance. The guy strung out 8 laps average under 59.0 seconds per 400m. Nobody in the world is within 5 to 7 seconds of him at 2 miles. As long as he doesn’t let it dawdle and goes 1:55 or faster the first 800m he will suck the air out of EVERYONES lungs the last 700m…FACT
In the 1500 field, maybe. But I’d have a hard time believing Girma isn’t within 5-7 seconds in a 3k/2mile great as Jakob is.

Girma obviously IS within 5 -7 seconds of J. Ingebrigtsen over 3000m/2 Miles. He HAS run 7:23.81 indoors, this year.
The question is: Can he actually better J. Ingebrigtsen's 7:54.10 - difficult, yes, but impossible?

Nothing indicates that Girma can run 7:54. It's worth 7:20 low and Girma ran 7:23 high and recently 7:26. The steeple WR is quite soft so it does not indicates WR shape in other distances. Looks like he could do 7:58 but not 7:54. Maybe in the future.

Three races this year: 7:23.81(i), 7:26,18, 7:52.11
This gives room to speculate for almost anything. He is definitely capable to run faster than 7:58. How fast?

None of these performances are better than a 7:58 two miles so I don't understand your conclusion.
This was in terrible weather in 2018 i think, but it seems to go in 52 high. Filip did 51 when he won european gold in 2016, Jakob could easily do the same if not faster.

Jakob run 2 WR in exceptional conditions (fast track, wave lighting, Weather conditions).
Recall it's the same day where 6 guys run 1;43 low in the 800m and 10 guys run under 13 mins in the 5000m.

+1
Girma ran just under 7:24 in the indoor 3000m WR.
Jakob´s 2 mile WB possibly equals a bit under 7:20 in the 3000m.
So Girma should at least be within 4 sec from Jakob,
