Your point about Carmel is interesting, though I've found that every place has its own charm, regardless of stereotypes. As for the fake ID dilemma, I gotta say, it's a risky game. I remember back in college, some folks tried those websites, but it always seemed like more trouble than it's worth. Plus, the consequences if caught... yikes. Honestly, ? It's a question many ponder, but ultimately, staying on the right side of the law is just simpler. On a brighter note, I once stumbled upon this cozy little coffee shop in downtown Carmel. The barista there was so friendly, and the atmosphere was just perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Knew a guy that dealt with this in college. He was from India, had a fake ID with a different name on it, and the bar had a policy of turning over fake IDs to the police (this was in 2006). Turns on the "fake name" was the same name as someone on the US terror watch list, some common name like "Yusuf Kahn". Got a visited by 3 guys in suits who questioned him for an hour but ultimately nothing happened.

I went to college in the mid 1980s. As I was underage, I borrowed one of my teammates' IDs to get into a bar. He was a sprinter (and a black guy), and I was a skinny, white distance runner. The bouncer looked at the ID, looked at me, laughed, and then let me into the bar. He said if I had enough guts to try that, I deserved a drink;). The good Ole days!
Not really related, but I got my real ID confiscated once when I was about 25 or so. Fully legit ID but from out of state and the fool bartender got on his high horse thinking he'd spotted an obvious fake. I was able to get it back by talking to the manager but no chance I was going back to that bar.
That sounds like a tough spot with your fake ID getting confiscated. From what I've gathered, the consequences of using a fake ID can vary depending on where you are and the specific circumstances. It's a situation that needs to be taken seriously. I think seeking legal advice from a local attorney who specializes in these matters would be a . They can provide you with personalized guidance on your options and potential outcomes. It's always better to address these things head-on and get the right support.

lol as someone this just happened to my id scanned but it was the first time i’ve ever had a girl bouncer and she then went and got another id and sat and compared them and then proceeded to get an officer to check my info im 20 so took it and they let me go but i’ve had it for years and that was the only time someone has ever done that
Fake ID was confiscated by the bar today before I bought anything. I didn't resist and just let them take it and they told me (like many others before) they'll just put it in a box downstairs. Could I face any charges (Indiana)?
As long as you vote Democrat you'll be ok
Indiana is a red state and the charges would be state charges.
And while Trump pardons or commutes the sentences of the criminals who work for him, Biden's DOJ has brought serious charges against two Democratic members of Congress and continued cases against Hunter Biden, including the just concluded tax evasion case.
