No, the comment that you are responding to and agreeing with is demonstrably false, as Harvard's own financial aid standards make perfectly clear. That's been discussed in detail already. As for someone who turns down "numerous Ivy offers" because his parents only make around $300,000 per year, the lack of need-based financial aid offers seems obviously appropriate, and his decision to become a "pro runner" suggests that he likely wouldn't have been a good match for most Ivies anyway.

FIRE (who were the organization that ranked Harvard last in free speech) had a billboard truck “promoting” Harvard’s ranking parked in Harvard Square after FIRE released their rankings. Not a single Harvard-affiliated person cared in the slightest. Nobody at Harvard give’s a rat’s *ss about some nonsense rating from an organization nobody has heard of, and not should they. Complete nothingburger outside of Fox News headlines.
