Lol what, sprinting has absolutely been bigger. Sprinting was at its peak in the 80s and 90s. There was a short comeback in the early 2000s till mid 2010 due to bolt. This era is very competitive but most people on the streets would struggle to tell you who won the 100m at the last olympics.

Eugene is a sh---hole. Youth Junior Olympics are there this summer and you can't get a hotel anywhere. Even if you try booking a year out it's like $300 for a motel. The only thing Eugene has going for it is its not ungodly hot in the summer like other locations.
