I knew it would happen. Don Lemon got canned for pushing out Natasha Chen at the Monterey Park mass shooting. He flew out from Atlanta to force his way into the L.A. spotlight. Didn't work CNN L.A. got Don Lemon fired. L.A. is the largest revenue market in the cable TV world.

This is a huge scandal and an injustice to Tucker. The work he did discovering the green M&Ms scandal was Pulitzer worthy. And think of all the lives he saved across America by getting elderly to be fearful of the Covid vax.

Is it possible that cable news is moving away from politically biased reporting? Lemon got let go at CNN today, just a couple of days after Carlson was let go.

I am not happy that anyone loses a job, but this a step in the positive direction for a more objective media.

It's a very telling contrast. Because so much of right-wing media has been built by claiming that all other media competitors have extreme liberal bias, everyone on the right thinks that Don Lemon is the liberal version of Tucker Carlson; a widely-beloved polemicist at the tip of the spear in the culture war. A talking head who is representative of the liberal base. A driver of public opinion and discourse.

Of course, nobody on the left thinks of Lemon like this. He's just a boring news guy who went viral a few times for saying things that liberals liked. The only people who care that he's been canned are a handful of sad wine moms. The right-wing propaganda machine has no left-wing equivalent.

Social media would say that the right wingers are, as this board might post, devastated. It isn't pretty.

Lemon's problem seems to be one of being abusive to (overly demanding) "lesser" employees. A problem "actors" like Carslon and Trump have ... Prima Donnas.
