First sentence is so dumb. The crowd also laughed when he quoted the Kanye tweet. Are we to interpret that the crowd was agreeing with what was being said in the tweet? Why does it feel like nobody understood what we just watched

In some scenarios they can say pretty clearly actually. Kanye saying he was going to wake up and go “death con” 3 on Jewish people is obviously anti-Semitic. That’s not like what Chappelle was saying.
