Most people its worse. I was reading in WSJ today how with inflation more people are choosing to live with roommates now. Has anyone's quality of life actually improved?
Are your kids better off from 2 years of democrat induced lockdowns? Do you feel like their math skills are better or worse as a result? Are they more prepared for college?
Do you feel like it's easier to retire today vs 2 years ago?
Do you feel safer from crime in your location than 2 years ago?
These are all questions voters will be asking themselves in 2 weeks. I'll let you determine what that means for Democrats.
I rarely if ever vote for an issue or candidate based upon how it may affect me, that's selfish. I vote on how it will affect WE.

We keep electing OLD PEOPLE with no clue how the modern world works or how change elsewhere ultimate effects the USA.
Extremists speak for both parties now. Your choice is now tax and spend identity politics liberals that think forcing swift societal changes is good policy vs. religious troglodytes that feel America would be better if we could just humiliate/eliminate people that we don't like and to allow billionaires to create a nation of serfs.
Think tanks and corporate donors now very obviously run the nation now.
The sad reality is that we are losing our democracy no matter who wins. We, the people, are ultimately to blame because we have become stupid from our little self-contained media bubbles and because we treat politics as a team sport. The voter is now on par with the bellicose fat dude at your local sports bar that engages in loud displays of cheering for his team despite knowing very little about the game or the players involved,
Also anyone with half a brain could have predicted this inflation regardless of who the president was. The options were: 1. Ignore COVID and let more people die or, or 2. enact the restrictions and bailouts we had and end up with massive inflation. *shrug*

Is that the same issue that they are having over in Europe? You know, the place where inflation is actually worse than that of the United States?
While inflation is indeed a problem, however it is not a simple as not spending money. Generally during period of high inflation and recessions, people tend to cut out the non- essentials.
A good indicator if people are actually hurting is looking at restaurants on the weekends. Especially breakfast places. However, you drive by any local/chain dinner on a Saturday/Sunday morning, there is generally a pact house.
Also we have to look at companies still turning over record profits. Generally with inflation, companies are also impacted. So it seems weird that this is happening.
Also with the Fed adjusting interest rates to ease inflation. This is a good practice, but remember it generally takes 6-18 months to see results for a interest rate hike from the fed. So should they have been more aware of what was coming down the road, for sure.
But it isnt as simple as what you are saying.
And to your point on gas price, the price per barrel is around $85 dollars, so that fact that the prices are so high, doesn't really make sense. As in June it was around $120. Granted it was like $25 during COVID time.

i could believe he's registered as a Democrat for the specific purpose of voting in Democrat primaries to pick candidates unlikely to win against Republicans. I think this is probably more likely than faking a document, because Rojo has shown time and again that he's a troll on here and registering as the other party to vote in primaries is troll behavior.

4. Liberal policies on crime enforcement leading to higher cost for companies and industry
5. Promulgation of entitlement rather than personal accountability
6. Free healthcare as opposed to just health insurance
This will be among the most competitive mid-terms of all time given one side's actions against women and the inability of either party to fix or explain how they'd fix the economy.
