There’s got to be more to the story besides him playing football for her to leave. Obviously not a strong marriage
On the other hand, their marriage has persisted despite both being incredibly rich, successful, and capable of sleeping with whomever they want. I doubt that most marriages could survive that.
Tom played this right. Giselle is a supermodel. Once he sheds his star quarterback status for good she will get bored and find a side piece + take a good chunk of change in the divorce. He figured if that's gonna happen anyway he may as well play ball.
My gosh, when my wife and I get into a dispute the first thing that doesn't come to mind is what would Tom Brady think. I could give two darns what he or his ex wife are thinking. It's only a game called football. Some posters are very lucky that the only thing they have to worry about is Tom Brady and his super model wife. Let the years go by. You and your wife, if you have one, will look back decades from now and you won't even remember both of their names.

What's your thinking on this? It's not like he's courting her and she's impressed that he's a star QB. They have been married a long time, do you really think his wife would get bored with him because she doesn't see him on the teevee anymore? I'd get bored with someone I wanted to hang out with but was never there.
If she is nagging him about his lifelong passion and got her way, it would only teach her that nagging works. Good for Tom. Now imagine him getting marriage and divorce advice from his buddy Trump. Gisele better be careful walking down stairs.

The whole "he retired so he could spend more time with his family" thing never made sense to me. Football is only half the year, he can spend whatever time he needs to the other half of the year. Plus, it's not like he's completely away from his family during the season, there are just times of the week where he is away. He is at home most nights.
Plus his kids are getting older, his oldest is in high school now. Very few kids that age want to be with their parents anyway.
Plus they have plenty of money to pay for assistants and nannies to take care of important tasks while he is unavailable. If she's really giving him a hard time about playing football because it takes him away from the family, then she's being completely ridiculous.
Football is more full time than that. He's gone 7days a week more than full time 3/4 of the year. Nevertheless, this whole thing is falling on deaf ears. She is pissed that her husband is working into his 40s? They have limitless $ to live in a mansion close to the tampa facility and a staff to help out with all the things normal people have to do (as you pointed out)? Cry me a river G, she looks bad on this one. There are coaches still working into their 70s, i get that their spouse might want them around. He's done any minute now, and they got 50+years to fill time. He does have the right to feel stressed a bit, it sucks not being able to see your kids games etc...

She is worth more than TB by the way, some say twice the net worth. Not sure divorce is a motivating factor.

Of course Trump. TDS alert.
Lol Kobbs is a Trump supporter - you’re eating your own.

Say what?
Football is not 7 days a week for 3/4 of the year, try 5 days a week for half the year, Tommy doesn’t do mini camps anymore and pretty sure he gets an extra Veterans Day off each week as well, also they have cut out two days and no longer have contact in practice. This ain’t the 60’s and 70’s
So, your point is that folks shouldn't give a rat's a$ about how marital disputes go down i the Brady household but somehow how disputes go down in your household is relevant?
Okayyyyy
What you do in your home is your business.
What I do in my home is my business.
What Tom Brady does in his home is his business. None of us is his judge. Just because he can throw a football better than probably anyone who has ever lived, doesn't make him a better human than you or me. He's just a man like the rest of us only difference is his ability to throw a football.
My heroes are the people who invented the steam engine, telegraph, telephone, light bulb, internal combustion engine, air plane, ect. ect. Theses are the real heroes from the past 150 years. Not some guy that can just throw a football, get a big paycheck and marry an attractive but very thin woman.
But, I guess it's different strokes for different folks. Carry On.
the guys who made the millions of deaths of COVID-19 possible are your biggest heroes?
Its about control. She could/probably has a bunch of nannies for the kids, gets flown around the country to do whatever the hell she wants, somehow the fact that she can't dictate his schedule is the wedge issue. What a loser

The reality is that Tom Brady is 45 years old and he has a weak offensive line. He can still ball and he's still fit, but it is undeniable that he is tempting fate by continuing to play a violent sport at his age. It only takes one big boy smacking the piss out of him from behind to dramatically alter the course of the rest of his life. Hundreds of NFL players have ended their careers being carted off the field in a stretcher and it's not impossible that Tom Brady will face the same fate this year. (Or next.) The fact that his wife doesn't want to see that come to pass does not make her a control freak or a loser.
He's got more money than God. He's accomplished more in football than anyone ever will. He has absolutely nothing left to prove. But he can't stop playing. That obsession is a big reason why he's the GOAT, but it's kind of sad, really.
