So, it didn't happen, but the BYU mormon coach and the BYU mormon athletic director lied about it when they said that it did happen? That we can't trust anything that comes out of the mouths of these BYU representatives?
oh come on.
No academic administrator can be at all circumspect when racial issues come across their desk. they must come out raging and 100% categorical about it. One hesitation and their careers are over. These admins had absolutely no choice if they wanted to keep their jobs but to believe the accusations.
Or they know that it is true, or they think that it is likely true because they know the kind of people who live in their community and participate in their faith.

if you can't see that getting at the truth is not at all on these admins' job description then I can't help you.
They can't even hesitate to say 'let's look into this.' They must accept any and all accusations of racial bias as if they are 100% true. Your ascribing some sort of judging responsibility is absurd given the state of US higher ed in this respect.

If any school doesn’t care at all about what the public thinks, it is BYU.
here's a compilation of hate crime hoaxes or misunderstandings. It's not peer reviewed and many of these things should not be on the list but hoaxes/misunderstandings happen a lot.
when there are no witnesses get your BS meter turned on.

This is a project to create a database of hate crime hoaxes in the USA. It builds on the work of Laird Wilcox, 'Crying Wolf'
Somebody wrote that Jesus was black. Another said yes he was. I said that we all are agreeing. That us 3 random people in a thread of a different topic. Start a thread asking and you will get many Crhristians to agree.

nah, that would be Liberty U.
BYU and mormonism are trying to mainstream themselves in a major way.
they now even write 'lattter day saints' in tiny barely findable script next to an enormous CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST to make their theology seem less crazeballs.
here's another possibility - that there were racial insults but made by a mentally handicapped individual.
From the Deseret story:
“He seemed to be more interested in talking to me than cheering for BYU,” Laursen wrote. “It was evident based on the individual’s comments, stuttered speech and mannerisms that he has special needs. Based on my training and experience in Crisis Intervention Training, he may have (A)sperger syndrome or could have autism. The individual was articulate, but socially awkward. The individual kept scrolling through his phone and didn’t seem too involved in the game.”

I was the one who said Yes, He was. And I was the only one. Then you posted "We all just did so you are incorrect." How was I incorrect when no one, not even you at the time, had agreed J. Christ was black?
Even with you now apparently in the fold, how is that "all"?
