Wouldn't someone that's actually clean be a lot more vociferously against the people in the sport who were doping? Like, if I were Bolt, and I were actually clean, it'd piss me off so much and I'd find it so unfair that the people competing right next to me had been busted for doping and were probably still doping.
How would you find the motivation to train knowing you're at a chemical disadvantage compared to your peers, one that you could remediate easily if you doped yourself?

When you know you are far superior to the competition you do what we see him doing here. No talk of beating anyone, his motivation was running sub 19.00. I doubt he paid any attention at all to anyone else because he knew nobody could be him. His thing was his legacy and doing things never done before.
Ben Johnson needed to cheat to beat Carl Lewis, why would Usain Bolt need to cheat, who couldn't he beat?
(18 May 2016) Olympic and World Champion sprinter Usain Bolt said on Wednesday that drugs cheats would be caught which would "make the sport better."The Jama...
Last week Bolt bristled in a press conference when asked if the modest 100m times run worldwide this year were perhaps reflective of improved anti-doping mechanisms. He rolled his head back as if exasperated that anyone should have the temerity to pose the question and his dismissive reaction was criticised in some quarters. But on Sunday night he was unequivocal in his damnation of drugs cheats.
“I’ve always been strong on doping,” he said. “I feel like athletes should get life bans. If you go out of your way to cheat to be a better athlete I feel you should get life bans, that’s a fact. We hit rock bottom last year or the year before and now we’re on our way back up. Now we have to be strict on this to help the sport stay in a good place. I’ve proven to the world you can do it. You can be great without doping, that’s one of the things I want to preach to the younger kids.”
The guy was clean and only and it should be obvious.
The simple truth is that we outwork everyone. But when you perform at a higher level in a race, you get questions about doping

Why would I enter into a sport and then dope myself up and risk my life again? That's crazy. I would never do that. No way."
Twenty-plus-year career, 500 drug controls worldwide, in and out of competition. Never a failed test. I rest my case."
Herschel Walker was 6-1 225 with 10.23 100m speed. Who can give me the name of anyone that size with that kind of speed? Bo was a 10.39 guy.
Yep, Walker was ....unique.
Cassius Clay started out a light heavy won the Olympic gold there, what he had was a whole other level of hand and foot speed when he became a heavyweight in the pros. Yep....unique.
Every once in awhile we see that rarity, that unique athlete. That was Bolt and it should be real obvious.

I’d like to quote from one such athlete, the great, immortal, incomparable Ricky Henderson!
“They kept that s$!# a secret from me. I wish they had told me. My God, could you imagine Rickey on ‘roids? Oh, baby, look out!”
Thats fine, but i still think youre chock full of crap. And i dont believe bolt ran clean, and nothing you can say will make me change my mind. And as for you not lying,i dont believe that, either guy,got it?
If ya need to ignore reality for total BS that is on you. I prefer how things really were.
There is nothing that points to Bolt as a doper, nothing of any kind.
Sure there’s no positive tests; my skepticism is based on the fact that OOC testing in Jamaica during Bolts prime was, at best inconsistent, at worst almost non-existent, and also that 5 athletes (including his training partner) in the Glen Mills group served drug bans

In his prime who could beat him so why would he need anything ?

You got it my friend, love to see intelligent posters.
Remember the time he tried to make a career of football (soccer) in Australia after he retired, and he was publicly whining about having to take an unexpected drugs test? I also remember him being asked about Justin Gatlin at a press conference at the World Championships in London and he was very defensive of him.
I don't usually agree with the argument that 'if so many of his rivals were doping, he must have doped to beat them', but when you consider the near universal degree of doping going on in sprinting, and the fact that Bolt was so much better, it is somewhat convincing in this case.
It's quite plausible, especially before super shoes, that without doping, the WR wouldn't be faster than 9.9, and very few would run sub 10. Yet Bolt ran 9:59, and if he hadn't jogged the last 20m in Beijing, probably faster than that then.
doping is in every sport, and more prevalant in some sports than others.its rife in track and field, cycling, weightlifting ,rugby, swimming and some others.all elite athletes use drug cocktails.its the way it is.no such thing as a clean athlete at top level.
So, to excel in one event, better train for another. Makes sense.
The 100m works like this....
Sprinters hit that max velocity/top end at around 70ishm, now it's about sustaining/maintaining your topend as long as you can before you start decellerating. Those able to hang on to that max volvicity longer meaning a shorter decelleration phase have a big advantage. Key words.....speed endurance. That is Usain Bolt his speed endurance and that stride unlike anyone else. He spent little time decellerating.
Bolt spents years building endurance to run 200m, so what is a mere 100m to a guy like that?
That doesn't make much sense. 200m specialists are not as good at 100m. Off the top of my head: Michael Johnson, Gabby Thomas, Allyson Felix, Abby Steiner, Frankie Fredericks, Christophe Lemaitre.

Oh and Daphne Schippers. She is also 5" taller than the average female sprinter. So that kinda takes away your tall argument.

These are good examples. I agree it makes sense that it is more likely that Bolt was clean because he was a complete outlier, and we've seen these outlier freaks such as Cassius Clay in other sports. We also see it in sports such as snooker and darts where there is likely not even any advantage to be had in peds. However, we need to consider the fact that Bolt is from a small sample of the world's population (Jamaica) that was dominating sprinting at the time, and that we know had a doping culture and zero testing. Also, if you look at Yohan Blake and that famous 200m time of his when he was slow off the blocks, then perhaps Bolt wasn't even an outlier in Jamica.
Don't be a fool amigo, here was a cat with a 6-5 stride who could split a sub 45.00 4x4, spent years traing as a long sprinter who simply didn't need to go that PED route. And those I know aren't liars, ok guy?
You have any proof to back up any PED usage, ya don't do ya?
Nearly everyone running sub 9.8 has been doping.
It is impossible that someone can run so much faster clean.
Kiprop won junior world xc as a teen he still has to dope to run 3:26
There are millions of tall people normally they lack the strength to use those long limbs
There was virtually no out of comp testing in Jamaica when he set those records. As his testing as stepped up when he should have been running faster he went slower.
