Inconsistent is the Algerian who finished second at the World U20s? Where is he now? Noah Kibet, the kid he bumped and knocked off his rhythm at the 600m mark, is a regular fixture in the pro circuit with a Diamond League win under his belt.

Amos himself was just 18 when he ran sub-1:42, so this 17-year old running sub-1:45 is plausible.
But he sure doesn’t look 17, more like someone who’s raised three teenagers with his current wife and and two more with his ex-wife, the oldest being as old as himself. 😅
Well El K was adamant that not only was George going to be even better than his big brother, but that they had at least a dozen other younger siblings destined to rule the 1500m for the next 20 years.

Wesley VÁZQUEZ was in 8th. Good to see him back, hopefully he can return to his previous level. We need him in the 800m and McSweyn in the 1500m to keep middle-distance honest in the championships.

Jakob, Tim, Hoare, Kerr and Kipsang are all perfectly capable of keeping the pace honest in the 1500. Perhaps McSweyn is needed for the rounds, but honestly that feels like a tactical choice because all the other guys can trust their finish more.
In the 800, I wouldn’t hope for much out of Vazquez. He didn’t even try to get out fast in that race. I’m worried he’s physically not there. That leaves few frontrunners in the current mix unless Bol, Arop, Amos, Burgin and McBride deploy those tactics.
Age cheating in sport, especially world football, has been going on for over 40 years. It's no coincidence that it would carry over into athletics as well. Those who want to believe that there is no misrepresentation of age are deluding yourselves. It happens.

Yes, and Africa is by far the worst. In football, they decided to introduce sophisticated biometric testing for junior competitions. God knows why athletics wont do the same.

Kipchoge is very likely in his 40's. We don't know how a 40+ year old world class athlete will perform beyond what would be expected, after consuming EPO for likely 20 years. Well we do know, because he has shown us, along with Bekele. But it's irrelevant anyway, because there has been proven wide scale age cheating in Kenya, unsurprisingly given the financial incentives and the lack of birth record keeping. In this case (Wyamyoni) it's beyond obvious.
Just shut up now troll....you are disservice to the athletes' names you have appropriated for your handle
