Abby Steiner was pressed by Caisja Chandler in the Ohio HS State Championship meet in 2018 when Steiner won in 22.73. Steiner ran for Dublin Coffman near Columbus and Chandler ran for Euclid near Cleveland. Chandler is now at Cincinnati. She qualified to the next heat today.

No. Nothing like that. No turn off between events yester. If it helps, the camera is zoomed in far better today than yesterday. Much easier to view runners along back straight today than yester.
But wouldn't the better option be to stop, pick up and tie on her show and start running again? Especially in a slow10000 qualifier when there was over half a race to run.
What about do you think happened to the others? Maddy Denner ran 15:2x during indoors and was in the 10 too
maddy denner can only have 1 good race per year.... not even joking, she runs 1 really good race then thats it... same with lauren ryan, but its one good race per season for her..

I don't know. You have to make a fast decision and maybe she didn't know where the shoe went or maybe she thought it might take too long. I won't question her decision.
