For what it's worth, here are the 5 Bowerman Babes remaining:
1. Courtney Frerichs: Staunchly defended Shelby, has an Olympic medal, had a suspicious improvement and significant physical change. Likely doping.
2. Karissa Schweizer: No suspicious improvement or body change, but 14:26 in and of itself is suspicious, and there are rumors she still trains with Shelby sometimes. Maybe doping.
3. Elise Cranny: Staunchly defended Shelby, had a suspicious improvement and significant physical change, and comes from a college program with a very poor reputation for doping control. Likely doping.
4. Vanessa Fraser: No real quality times to note, but did have a significant physical change, and comes from a college program with a very poor reputation for doping control. Maybe doping.
5. Andrea Seccafien: Only joined the group last year as part of the Canadian contingent and was likely lied to. Watch for her to be the next to leave the group.
you note a significant physical change in most kd these girls.. but I’m not seeing it.
all of them look about the same as they have since college and/or HS.
Cranny's and Frerich's are obvious, Fraser's maybe less so. Schweizer looks the same.

Once an exceptional group of women, down to 4…soon.
and this post better not be deleted. We’re allowed to speculate about a group of sycophants who parade their support for a drug cheat and have suspicious performances to boot.
I get physical changes happen but there’s other stuff that can’t be overlooked. Frerichs improvement is wild and if she ever gets caught I hope Emma puts her on blast.
They are Nike sponsored athletes, so they can't train with a group sponsored by another shoe company. And Pete Julian's Nike sponsored group has it's own taint because of Alberto Salazar.
I, for one, don't care to think about Pete Julian's own taint.
2. Karissa Schweizer: No suspicious improvement or body change, but 14:26 in and of itself is suspicious, and there are rumors she still trains with Shelby sometimes. Maybe doping.
Too much tinfoil hat stuff happens on this website, but Schweizer has been notably worse since Houlihan got busted.
Schumacher is a huge liability to BTC and should resign to protect the future of the team. I think with his withdrawal and a new head coach the BTC has a chance of cleaning up their image with the athletes, fans and press.
Courtney Frerichs (born January 18, 1993) is an American middle-distance runner and steeplechase specialist from Nixa, Missouri, She is a three-time silver medalist in the 3000 meters steeplechase capturing silver at the 2020...
And the rumoured explanation for why GDS was broken but not Reekie or Muir, was that UK Athletics would send national team trainers and physios to camp with them but just for the GB women and that GDS couldn't use them. The Scots also had Team GB nutritionists/dieticians handling periodized nutrition while Young just "bro-scienced" it for Stafford.
I don’t think that’s a rumour, that’s just how the UK system works.
The entire support system is state funded so they would send all the medical staff on camps or up to Glasgow each week to treat Gemma and Laura. But that support would not be offered to non Brits. Rightly so.
Would make it very expensive for GDS to then have to pay for all that stuff just for herself.
Not only treatments etc but paying for the staff to fly out to camps and whatnot.
So no great surprise she didn’t fancy that any more.
This is correct. UK training groups work very differently to US groups. In the UK, there is a coach, and that's it in most cases. If you're lucky, your group will be affiliated to a university and you may get some physio but in most cases, anything beyond coaching is either paid for out of pocket or by the lottery funding scheme. It's not like the US where a training group might be sponsored and the sponsor provides resources for rehab, pre-hab, etc.
Athletics Canada could have offered to pay for that while GDS was in Scotland, but that organisation seems to be as much if a sh1tshow as every other NGB

Not the first guy, but in the version of the story I heard she was able to pay herself/Athletics Canada pay for treatment on camps initially. But when she ran 3:56 and was less than a second off of Muir they said she wasn't allowed to access those physios even if she paid/AC paid.
Either way, yeah. Not an ideal situation to hang round.
All these damn downvotes, when someone just listed a slew of women for leaving for unhinged, diva reasons. It's sad people have to lie to themselves about basic truths.
For example, It’s not even May and Infeld is a 10k runner and he’s saying “mixed results”. Obviously is biased against the group and spinning things negatively.
Frerichs' behavior and defense of Shelby was extremely suspicious to me. Would not surprise me in the slightest if they were both taking the same thing, perhaps a steroid precursor that Ross Tucker talked about. Their progression and physical change happened around the same time too.
I'm less suspicious of Karissa but can't rule anything out with this group.
What other Nike sponsored 1500-10K group do you think they should choose to move to? There aren't that many options.
Then stop doing business with an unethical company.
Pro contracts typically go from Olympics to Olympics. So if they have a legal contract until the next Olympics in 2024, then what? Break their contract right now and get sued?
I have my suspicions of BTC for obvious reasons but Stanford a doping school? Who, what, when, how? This thread is the first I have seen that.
There are no doping "schools." There may be doping "coaches" but not schools. And the coach that the Bowerman runners ran for at Stanford is no longer there.
So you think that the new coach at Stanford is required to dope all his runners because he got hired by a "doping school"? Give me a break.
