Love, love, love Elle PSP! The best part about her silver is that it will increase her confidence going into outdoor Worlds. Her confidence was low after Tokyo and getting nipped in our 1500 indoor trials. But she absolutely crushed it yesterday, got that world silver, and with it the knowledge she can absolutely hang with the very best.

Totally love Elle. What an amazing race and podium accomplihment! And the last laugh goes to the neysayers about her running the 3K. So far no other US woman is on the podium (tomorrow hoping for Ajee). They got left in the dust!!!!
you know what, she is older than i thought. maybe going from 4:14 to 4:02 between 22 and 24 is a but suspicious, though I have no idea how her training changed from college to pros, along with health.
Although we aren't supposed to talk about weight, she was a very strong runner in college carrying a little bit of "baby" weight. Now you can tell she is probably more focused on diet and has learned up a lot which has definitely contributed to her success as a pro.
In winning silver, Purrier broke through the East African domination of middle distance running. The Ethiopians expected to sweep the event, and would have, but for Purrier. She beat two of the three Ethiopians, and both Kenyans in the race.
