On average escapes you. Do you have a job where you have to sit at a desk next to people, and go crowded meetings several times a week? Your questions reveal that you never have.
This is simple. But can you understand: the greater the exposure time the more likely you'll get an airborne infection.
PS. Try to get a real job someday.
Sorry.
Average healthy people of my generation do not get the flu anywhere near once per year.
0/10, troll.
Maybe you'll get a real job some day, at a large company, where you have to work with people.
One of our team ran the U.S. trails in the 5k and 10k. He got the flu and missed a second chance make the trials.
Sorry, but your "healthy people" comment is just you expressing your ignorance.
Average healthy people of my generation do not get the flu anywhere near once per year. You must be younger and so part of the generations that get dozens and dozens of vaccines ad a child and so your body no longer can fight off the flu.
Not sure why you are so proud of being so weak
And here's king liar to add his useless point.
His comment is nothing but gibberish. He posts on LRC during the hours most people with jobs are working. He doesn't have a real job, #sad.
Post this evidence? Not some stupid truthlion article but actually evidence.
Saget's autopsy found him to have several maladies, cardiomegaly (an enlarged heart), coronary artery atherosclerosis (damage or disease in the heart's major blood vessels) and aortic atherosclerosis (plaque build-up inside the wall of the aorta), none of which caused his death.
Former President Barack Obama announced Sunday that he has tested positive for Covid-19. "I've had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise," he said on his official Twitter account. Obama also said...
I'm at the gym now and about half of everybody is sporting a mask, N95 in some cases
Paraphrasing a former First Lady -- I don't care, why do you?
Some people wear masks, some people wear a baseball hat most of the time regardless of activity or weather, some people eat crappy fast food. Why care about any of it? Just do what you want to do.
YES. Haven’t been to the doctor since I put a mask on. Absolutely worth it.
In order to be strong, your immune system needs practice. These masks and vaccines nullify that. People will have defunct and weak immune systems, potentially for some the equivalent of HIV positive individuals. You should take that into consideration instead of drinking the kool-aid from self interested and money motivated big fraudma companies.

I personally know more people who have gotten sick recently than the initial two years.
Some people are being thoughtful and wearing a mask indoors among people out of consideration of possibly infecting vulnerable people. You don’t need a mandate for that.
Do you have any scientific basis for your statements in this thread, or do we just cite 'carmine9' because of his/her recognized medical expertise?
You don't know that it's unhealthy to get 4 colds (and one case of flu) per year?
You need a scientist to tell you that?
Scarily enuff, sources put the avg at 2 to 3 colds per year for Americans.
Not healthy.
I have averaged one every 2 years or so for the past 25 years.
When I was in my 20s and 30s it was more like 2 per year due to heavy partying, lack of sleep etc.
The CDC says that 8.8% of adults get the flu each year.
I have never gotten it...and am not unusual.
Anyone averaging one flu and 4 colds a year is a very unhealthy person
Oh I agree with you. I get colds way more than most people. Before I had a septoplasty 12 years ago, I would get them basically every month. 3-4x a year is a huge improvement for me!
I’ve always just been a sickly kid when it comes to colds and strep throat and ear infections. Don’t think I’ve ever had the flu, though. But yeah, the masks have made my life easier in that way. Only times I’ve gotten sick during COVID have been while dating someone.
Some of the reasons why people still are wearing a mask.
3. You just don’t get sick. Haven’t been sick for 2 years. Normally 2-3 times a year easy.
this is my thinking. Wondering if I should just start wearing masks regularly on flights/in winter. I get colds easily 4x a year, before masks.
also: prevents people from seeing me singing at the gym.
Nothing worse than catching a cold or the flu on a flight to an expensive vacation. Besides ruining the vacation, your other worry is whether you can fly home. Of course, the jamin-types will cry, "of course I'll fly when sick. I have to get home."
