Tom Brady should RETIRE after Today

Look, I love seeing Brady lose because he's had enough fortune in his life, but you people criticizing him have no clue.

TB will likely get 2nd in MVP voting. I'd probably put Burrow ahead of him, but TB absolutely deserves to be in the conversation. This team and franchise were garbage the past 20 years, and then he shows up and instantly they win a SB. Today, they were one cover-zero blitz breakdown from being in another NFC Championship game (the linebacker forgot to blitz and got stuck in no-man's-land.

Brady is gonna stay around as long as Brady wants. The Rams D-line is incredible and they were torching the Bucs' O-line today, and the receivers weren't getting open. You people begging him to retire just shows your insecurity that he'll come back next year and win it all. Rodgers and Garappolo looked like garbage this week too, so I hope you're also calling for their retirements.

There is no question that Brady can continue to play in the NFL and be a top quarterback. Just about every different ranking/metric had Brady in the top 3 in the NFL and the official NFL QB index had him at no. 1. The only issue for Brady is whether there is a team other than Tampa that is ready to build their offense around Brady in a single season. And there really isn't any such team at this point. So, Brady would either have to commit to a hard season or two to build a team into a super bowl contender or call it quits. Being part of building up a team would also mean getting hit a lot while building a strong offensive line and WRs and RBs that can operate as fast as Brady can. That would mean getting sacked a lot and taking a lot of hits or chucking the ball to the sidelines a lot (or both). Brady is not going to do that because he does not want to have a season where he gets hurt and has lousy stats and a losing record. There just isn't any room in the NFL for Brady anymore. He is going to have to move on or go out with a whimper on a rebuilding effort with a team that has a lot of cash but not a lot of talent.

Why wouldn't a team like Pitt build around Brady? Their entire offense was built around propping up an immobile QB who couldn't throw the ball. They already have a top defense so adding him would instantly make them a SB contender. Same thing with Denver (strong defense and good young WRs and RBs). Same thing with Tennessee. Same thing with the Colts. The easiest route, however, is to stay in TB with Godwin and a healthy offensive line.

It wasn't close... it was 27-6 until TB scored with 13 seconds left in the 3rd.

Teams always play soft once they know the game is over. If they don't fumble 3 times in the 4th it's probably a 44-20 game.

Wrong. This is the same Brady we’ve seen for the past 20 years. This loss goes on the oline. When Brady is under pressure, and gets hit, he’s a very average qb. The only way to hit him is if you can get pressure with only four guys. Which is hard to do. It’s ALWAYS been his Achilles heel.

Exactly. It is time for Tommy to retire.

So far I haven’t seen a convincing argument yet as to why the GOAT should retire. He will come back another year. At this point Brady will leave on his own terms. All the haters will eventually miss his absence from the league when he does decide to retire

Just shows, most the letruns post here have no idea what they are watching, Brady’s team was mostly hurt. He had no time to throw the ball, he had nobody to throw the ball to besides Evans and Gronk. Heck, Brate was a slot receiver this game! While stafford had a super team with him. The best pass rushers and O line with him and wr core. The fact Brady almost won this game was unreal. Defense played terrible this game, maybe if Todd Bowles wasnt out doing head coach interviews all week and focused on the game it would of gone better. Brady is playing at the top of his game.

I know Tom wants to move back to Malibu again.

He won't announce (assuming he does) until after the SB because it would take attention away from the teams left and the SB itself.

There's a time and place to do these things.

Tommy was about a week late but at least he made the right decision.
