I think you guys have Eddy in Arizona now.

I think in NJ no one can touch Anselm Lebourne's credentials among men.
I would also like to add two more master females from NY that should be on this list along with my lovely & talented wife.
Sue Munson from Orchard Park, NY & Marisa Hanson from Pleasant Valley, NY

I think in your MI list, the "Paul Oftenbery" is actually Paul Aufdemberge, misspelled...
Yep - and "Paul A. Joyce" was actually "Paul A.", also meaning Aufdemberge. (The post this was drawn from mentioned him along with Monica Joyce, hence the confusion.) BTW, I saw him finish a community 10k yesterday, coming in second behind Hanson's Trent Briney, and he looked awesome.
To add to the list of Michigan masters on the women's side: can't forget Laurie Decker (Michigan runner of the year last year), Laura Murphy and Laurel Park. (Hey, what is it with all the "Laur**" names???)
Colorado:
Doug Bell - ran a 9:30 ish 2 mile in his late 50's. Suppossedly world record holder in event for his age, at that time.
Watched him run under 9:00 in the 3k in Greeley.
Mississippi:
"The Popester"
"The Popinator"
"Poparama"
"The Popemobile"
"The Oxford Monk"
Brian "The Mad Man" Pope
"Mr. 5k"
"The Artist"
The Record holder formerly known as "Brian S. Pope" now going by the symbol !
You da man Pope, you da man
Colorado:
Peter Fleming, this guy can still bring it when he is fit. Nothing against Ames. Plaatjes is around 44.
Ontario has Ed Whitlock who kicks the crap out of anybody 70+ at any distance from 5k to the marathon.
Mbarak Hussein 40 yrs. old (Now U.S. citizen)

All the records are going down!
How about North Carolina?

texas- terri garrett 15:59 5k
Paul Hammond for Mass.

40-44 Mike Smith (25:37 - 5 miles; 15:50 - 5K)
45-50 Tim Mylin (25:32 - 5 miles; 16:01 - 5K)
51-54 Gary Roemesser (17:00 5K; 1:14 Half Marathon)
Roemesser is much faster than a 17 minute 5k guy, more like 16 flat from what I have seen. He ran an 8k in 26 flat in VA about 2 years ago.
Been the top 50-55 guy for some time.
Susan Loken, 2:43 marathon, US Women's Master's Marathon champ for 2005, also won the More and Vermont City Marathons this year.

That would be for Arizona.
KudzuRunner
Walt Rider, early 50s, a triathalete in the Memphis area, regularly notches 5Ks in the 18:00-18:30 range. In smaller races he's often the Master's #1.....
no offense to you or Mr. Rider but those are not particularly fast times for early 50's guys. Another TN guy, Gordon Terwilliger has run much faster, not sure what he is doing these days though. You do have a superb 50+ woman in TN, Victoria Crisp! has she not run in the 18:00's for 5K?
have seen Kathryn Martyn from NY run a few times, amazing to watch...not only is she fast but her form is great, quite smooth for someone that age.
North Carolina - John Hinton - Age 43. 25:00 for 8K last weekend in Richmond, 3:51 1500 last year. 3 time Olympic Trials qualifier in the 1500 who has just kept going. Super nice guy as well.
gotta put in a vote for bay arean, lisbet sunshine. she's 42(?) and has been pr'ing in the shorter road events. recntly ran mid 36:XX for a road 10k.
Hanna = Wide range of abilities. Recent 15:20 5K, and fairly recent 2nd overall in the World 100K (granted 100K = pre-master but damn good)

Call it the Lets.run honor roll for Master runners!
Calf:
Cece St.Gene
Wes Ashford
Rich Hanna
Hanna is good, but I don't think he's the best. As another poster pointed out Danny Martinez and others need to be considered.
