I currently have Covid bad. Need some training advice

You have a very bad cold, but obviously if you can breath enough to still be running then it is not hitting you that hard. Do the same things you would do if you got the flu, and as others have noted don't overstress your system. SInce you are young and have waited for the vaccine this long you may also wanted to consider something more effective like the upcoming Novovax or potentially the US Army's protein based vaccines. These are simpler vaccines that do not put widespread intracelllular strain on your body. Good luck and don't overdo things and you should be feeling good within a week or so.

Any serious athlete makes a poor choice when they choose to not get vaccinated. As many other posters have said here a serious COVID case will hard your performance for weeks or months.

There is a difference between pointing out something that is within the space of possibilities (long haul covid that sidelines an athlete for months), and stating what is likely to happen. What you guys are doing is pointing out the worst case scenario and acting like that is the expectation. What good does that do? I've certainly heard of people getting the flu and then getting pneumonia and dying. However, as that is not the most common result of flu, I would not expect that to happen in most cases. That doesn't mean I deny it could happen, and I wouldn't be overly surprised to hear about such a case. But, if you tell me you have the flu, I'm not automatically going to assume you'll be hospitalized with pneumonia.

Covid could wreak havoc in the human body, but for most cases, it doesn't. If that makes me a moron to not jump to an alarming conclusion based on data and to state what many authoritative sources state (most covid cases are mild), then darn.

We are telling not to push things, don't keep running hard, take it easy, or he will increase his chance of long term symptoms and that most of this could've been avoided with vaccination...

You will get out of shape and just need to accept this and stop ALL exercise. If you continue as you are, you are seriously risking you long term health. COVID can seriously affect your internal organs in the longer term. Right now you need to focus on getting healthy or your days of talking about 7min/miling will be forever a thing of the past. You need to maximise your chances of full recovery by removing unnecessary stress i.e. all exercise. It is not “just like the ‘flu”

I’ve had COVID and had post-infection complications. Google “Costochondritis”. This affected me for two months post COVID.

Another reason - Google “long COVID”. If you get hit by this, wave bye-byte to the next six months or year.

So rigth now you need to

- isolate so you don’t infect others.

- do zero exercise for the next ten days.

- sleep plenty, eat properly

- keep your fingers crossed.

Dude, WTF is NewsMax? Are you a bigot who just thinks everyone that thinks the mRNA tech is not really proven yet falls into a single redneck category? There are so many unknowns associated with producing the toxic spike protein randomly in cells throughout your body. SO many unknowns that nobody has looked into. Just because people don't drop dead upon inject does not mean they are wholly safe nor smart for younger health people. It has already been shown that the spike protein can invade the cell nucleus and inhibit DNA repair; you would think people would be smart enough to say, "hey, this could be bad maybe we should look into this further before pushing the tech on people who are not in dire need of protection from covid", but no, some of you morons who do not even understand what the Pfizer vax is doing just take a bigoted aim at everyone who won't lay down and join the experiment.
