It's true that PCR is very sensitive. That doesn't really matter as PCR tests have accurately predicted surges in hospitalizations and deaths everywhere and everytime they've occurred. The worst case of a 'post-infectious' test is someone needs to quarantine for a bit. Beyond that the tests still accurately recorded a COVID infection for contact and statistical purposes beyond.

Keep up the good work but as the saying goes, "none are so blind as those who do not want to see".

We have places where hospital and ICU beds are filled up but what do the anti-vaxxers post about and what to talk about? Obesity, Fauci, taking a vaccine from the elderly if they get vaccinated, or something in the past that the CDC was wrong about. They will want to discuss anything except what's important and reality.

I started a thread about not one ICU bed in the whole state of Alabama available due to the surge in Covid. That is a devastating and huge medical emergency. But all one idiot wanted to post about was that I said 88% of those in ICU beds were unvaccinated and the article said 88% in the hospital were unvaccinated. That's what he focused on and ignored the huge medical issue of no freaking ICU beds available in the whole state! It's severe myopia.

Just one Florida county, after 8 days of school, reported over 13,000 students, teachers, and staff having to quarantine. Note that the quarantine would be much bigger if it included vaccinated students exposed to the virus (and no negative test is required for the vaccinated students who, say, sat next to someone with a positive test). Because the governor refused to fund online education this year, the quarantined students cannot follow along their classes while out. This is over 5% of the school district.

Good thread. This surge is especially painful because vaccinated are suffering being rushed around the state trying to find a bed as everything is filled with unvaccinated people. It's tragic.

Lots of real word data confirms that a large majority of both minor and severe cases are from unvaxxed people. This is data collected in real scientific studies. Not cobbled together on a conspiracy website. Care to share alternative analyses?
