Why are vaccinated people even concerned anymore? I'll start off by saying I AM vaccinated. And if they work (which they do) then you shouldn't be so worried. They say 86% protection against the delta variant (delta variant is weaker than previous strains anyway).... So if only 10% of the population got the virus in the full year that people weren't vaccinated, and now they are protected 86%, then there is barely a 1% chance you'll get Covid in the next YEAR. So it's highly unlikely you'll get it. Now, if you do get it, it's highly unlikely you'll have any severe reaction to it. Less than 5% of positive cases are even going to the hospital anymore. So there's a 1% chance you'll get a covid, and then if you are incredibly unlucky and get it while vaccinated, then there's a 95% chance you'll just be sick at home for a few days and be on your way, just a tiny chance that you'll actually have to get some medical help. If you're so concerned about this, are you crazy uptight about driving in a car? You could get in a car accident!!! You could get hit by a vehicle running down the road. There are a lot of things to worry about in life (sort of) and this isn't really any higher on the list than a lot of other things.
Because not everybody can be vaccinated and they need you to get vaccinated to help them. It ain't all about you.
