Very persuasive argument. Not that I believe Houlihan anyway. I don't believe Wilson was clean. She just had a much better alibi than Houlihan.

Pretty compelling stuff. I did not know that nandralone was specific to joint integrity.

This guy's gym is WIDELY known for steroids. He would know about this drug.

In regard to the meat-head strength coach who did the video.
He clearly doesn't understand the difference between being a strength coach and being a distance coach or athlete. All the distance runners who I work with and around keep very detailed logs of exactly what they ate and where they ate it at. It's just common for them to do that. Because the meathead strength dude just puts down what he had in general in no way is the same as a distance athlete.
The meathead said EVERY distance coach would know what nandrolone is. Just for fun I asked some of the best distance coaches in the country (collegiate) if they knew what it was. Not one knew. So I do not buy the argument that Jerry would have necessarily known what it was.
I do not know whether Shelby is innocent or guilty. Probably never will. But people like the meathead strength dude should just stay in his garage and do his thing.
Another thing the "meathead" coach said that is not right is that pig farmers struggle to make ends meet. That may be true for his brother who grows grass fed pigs, but the majority of hogs and pigs are grown in CAFO's (concentrated animal feeding operations) which are basically factories. They are big business, I live in the middle of in Iowa where there are 24 million Pigs and Hogs almost all grown in CAFO's:
"The three pork industry sectors generated $40.8 billion in sales. Pig production accounted for 34% of the total, or $13.9 billion in sales from Iowa's pig farms. Hog harvesting facilities had 55% of the sales, and pork processing accounted for 11% of sales."
Does the video address why Shelby would have been taking nandrolone orally?
I’m under the impression it’s extremely low potency when taken orally so it makes little sense to do so. It also leads to tons of metabolites in urine so it’s not like you’re flying under the radar. Only advantage is significantly faster urine half life, but you’d need to be taking regular of doses to see an effect anyway.
Pigs produce nandrolone endogenously.
The steroid resembles dihydrotestosterone with very minor metabolization.
Nandrolone would increase pig muscle mass far more than testosterone, for his comparison between the two.
Ph.D.s in fields like this are not the best minds by any stretch. No one chooses these degrees to high-paying alternatives. People desperate to study other work bores them too much do subjects like physics.
Any steroid would improve female performance. Men run faster marathons than women because of their androgens.
His only interesting point so far comes from the inference about a poorly kept secret among pros that USADA would not testing for 8 months, including during the December of her positive.
stopped listening. I'm surprised everyone here likes this video.
I can't believe pepole loved this vidoe. I saw it super hot and thought it would be a must-watch.
What I most don't like is how he spent a ton of the video talking about how it's unlikely that the pig was shot up with nandrolene. hello. He doesn't understand their main defense. Their main defense is it came from an uncastrated pig. The pig doesn't need to be shot up with anything.
Yes it's unlikely. That's why I was so upset with the BTC statements. They should have said what you are going to hear is very unlikely to have happened but it does happen and sadly innocents are being banned from teh sport.
1 in 10 food truck orders get wrong meat, 1 in 50 pigs are uncastrated. etc.
Now what do I agree with.
1) I'd like to see her receipts and learn how she did the food log. I have no idea what I ate yesterday but I guess if I got popped I probably could figure a lot of it out by credit card statements. But I'd like to see the receiprts/statements. But I think a lot of people naturally wonder how you came up with a good log.
2) I want to see the polygraph test. Who did that? Whose idea was it? Can I talk to the polygrapher.

More like 1 in 1000 and 1 in 50000
More importantly what were the questions and even more so were they yes, no.
Have you ever knowingly taken performance enhancing drugs?
Without the questions and the answers nothing matters. Even more suspicious.
Yea, "Where's the Receipt???" is the big question.
The “press conference” was orchestrated by the lawyer. It was similar to the impromptu statements criminal lawyers make to the press on the courthouse steps “this is clear prosecutorial overreach” and “we look forward to being completely vindicated.” Jerry was assigned the Trumpian role of attacking the prosecutor, the lawyer tried to deep six the whole affair with rapid fire technical detail (which he had no business doing) and Shalane was the character witness. I’d love to see Shelby’s collection of burrito receipts - probably one for each nandrolone pill taken the same day.

Why are you quoting sales when he's talking about profits?
If you make 40.8 billion in sales but have costs of 40.79 billion, you don't make a lot of profit. Which is exactly what he was saying. The pig farms would not increase their cost basis with nandrolone because they couldn't afford it and there are much cheaper options.

You guys have lost a lot of credibility with this one. Not entirely sure why you seem so unwilling and/or unable to spot the obvious BS in this, but that’s where we are. I’m saddened and disappointed.

What's crazy is how pathetically impotent the t&f media is. F**kboi/6 minute miler Chavez asked no questions, Kara Goucher gave them a softball, and no one really challenged their story. It's total BS that they've been able to put this story out virtually unchallenged by most media.
In the video, he says nandrolone can be used legally in cattle. So wouldn't it be more likely that nandrolone is in beef in this case? And Shelby actually ordered Carne Asada (which is beef). So why didn't the defense team claim it was beef contamination? Or maybe low levels of nandrolone beef cooked in pig lard ( containing low levels of nandrolone) cooked on the same stovetop as pig offal (trace amounts) combined.
Also can anyone confirm her GC/C/IRMS analysis percentage. I read somewhere it was -23%, but that can't be right because I'm pretty sure then they would've had to do a 19-NA to 19-NE ratio test that I've read they didn't do. I can imagine the lab just didn't follow testing protocol yet CAS denied the appeal. But I can't find the actual answers and there's too many threads lol.
This needs to go back to being objective. You can find so many different ng/dl #'s then read "low" or 10x's the amount.

And on top of that, it has to be pig organs from an uncastrated boar served as a wrong order without Shelby spitting it out for tasting terrible.
I eat at "authentic Mexican food places and trucks all the time and my order is rarely wrong. So rarely I'd say never wrong. And I live near Shelby.

Law enforcement use polygraph when a crime has occurred, usual suspects are rounded up, law enforcement use polygraph before results of hard scientific facts are known. Law enforcement use polygraph to decide who they need to lean on. This is not a Who Done It. Hard science has already determined S. Houlihan is a PED cheat. Some nervous individuals fail polygraphs. Some individuals whom are able to control their bodily functions pass polygraph regardless of veracity. Who cares today about a Shelby Houlihan polygraph. It means nothing.
Could she have hooked up with a guy on nandrolone and received an injection the all natural way?
Does she have an athlete bf?

While we're at it, see if she's had any Phrenology tests done to see if she has the head shape of a liar and cheat. Both methods have about the same scientific rigor. You can be easily coached on beating a polygraph.
