We should all be treated as individuals. Why immediately group an individual into a category? That is the definition of racism. We should not treat someone different than another individual solely die to race or sex. You stated that a fact is a fallacy. There are in fact many scholarships that have criteria of race or sex as part of it. Colleges such as the ivies discriminate based on race based on their own admission. The simplest example example of why this is wrong is if black student is admitted to Harvard over a white student even though the black student's parents are millionaires and the white student's parent's are in poverty. You seem to be stating that situation is okay because the poor white student has primarily poor black high school classmates while the rich black student has primarily white rich high school classmates. Which one would bring life experiences to Harvard that differ from the majority of Harvard students?
