& it's because of the culture that the brojos foster on here. Time to own up to it.
We get good performances all the time & people feel compelled to trash on our best runners behind a keyboard. I wonder what would tell people it's ok to keep doing that? Oh, idk, a post a couple days after several runners drop good performances complaining about said performances.
These runners are fortunate anyone cares to discuss them at all. And if you were more intelligent you would know that these runners are essentially 2:11-2:12 relative nobodies on the running stage who are smartly taking advantage of the modern shoe technology. I applaud their efforts however. It is not easy to race a marathon at that level.
