Bannister broke 4 on around 30mpw
There are humans today that could certainly break 4 on 20 mpw. If they are allowed to cross train it would be easy.

4:36. I was a sophomore in high school and primarily trained for the 800. Only ran 6 days a week and my runs were never more than 4 miles.
I have ran 5:25 off track training.

What did the training include?
I ran a 5:41 on 3 miles per week at the age of 49.
20 miles every week for a year,? Or a couple of 20 mile weeks over a year?
How often do you race a mile or at all?
You also slipped up in your trolling a while back and talked of doing sub 8 pace for some runs.

Every week. Sure you did.
Also you've been going on about the 8 minute mile a little longer than a day.

And I am at 8:05 at 20 MPW
So you lied when you said you ran 7:30?

He got bitten by a radioactive spider.
David, if my 7th grader can run 4:54 with no training. I rhink you can run 6 minutes on 20MPW. If not, why not give up running? It doesn't sound like you enjoy it. Did you decide if you are going to a JUCO next year?

No. I am going to a state university
Join the club team and enjoy running. Forget about time goals.
Well I did a 4:57 1500 off about 15 mpw or less in March 2019

No, give up running and stop bothering everyone who likes running with your self pity and inability to listen.
Ran a 4:42 off that back in high school. Barely improved since then, so it might be something to try ;D
