How do you make the leap from “excessive force” or “assault” or even something like “brutal assault” to “likely attempted murder”? Every single one is terrible, but details matter.

Also, a typo on “he refuted”? It appears that the detained man’s account disputed or contradicted the agents’ account and that it was medical staff at the hospital who refuted the agents’ account.

If I’m not mistaken, The statement is currently available and being reported on, and in multiple forms the statement has been a matter of public record for nearly a decade. The issue with that case is the difficulty of obtaining corroborating evidence and the accuser’s unwillingness to persist in making statements. I'm not sure what you think will prompt anyone to make it “disappear soon” other than the fact that there might be a semi-competent clown at DOJ who might consider that helpful to the president.
