I believe that with DNI, the transgression is far less (if at all) about independence, but rather about our intelligence community working against anything other than external threats inside the US. Intelligence ONLY works against external threats, while only law enforcement works against (made up, in this case) internal threats (in addition to external threats).

Trump won't be able to the math using Trump Math, but $10 billion would be taxable. His only way out of this is force the IRS to make his winnings non-taxable. So, the entity being sued is also sued to pay your taxes, which is illegal.
