I posted this long follow-up to present further evidence in the unlikely case that any journalist peruses the thread looking into the matter. I think the Facebook posts represent a better reflection of what probably happened, although, like I said, no way to verify the distance or times without gps data.

Agreed. Plus, physically, he is toast. Finally if he did start moving again at a claimed good clip, it would take very little work to force him back into put-up-or-shut-up mode, which again would end quickly.

Danny here, Mayor of Emporia, glad you fellas are honoring our very own hero and good ol' boy Asher Dellmot, here's been great for our little town, visitors have increased ten fold since this thread, unfortunately, due to that dang video, a lot of them have been crackheads, but, beggars can't be choosers.

However, we have planned a full sized bronze statue of Asher, only problem is I have to keep our constituents happy, 40% rednecks, 40% evangelicals and 20% crackheads, so I have to incorporate them in to the statue somehow.

The rednecks and evangelicals aren't too much of a problem, rifle in one hand, bible in the other, but the mayoral committee is at loggerheads on how to incorporate the crackheads.

Any suggestions from the furtive minds of the average letsrunner would be greatly appreciated.

And yes, it's interesting that Rob was claiming he has no longer any contact with his father because he was "abused" (probably a lie). Nowadays, he hasn't seen two of his kids for more than a month and his third kid for years. Really a good dad. #forthechildren
