"In 1973 and 1976, the New York Times reported that Trump graduated first in his class in 1968 from the Wharton School of Finance."
Including the part you quote:
”For decades, the national media has reported that Trump graduated "first in his class" at Wharton, often confusing his undergraduate degree with the Ivy League university's top-ranked MBA program.
In 1973 and 1976, the New York Times reported that Trump graduated first in his class in 1968 from the Wharton School of Finance.
During campaign stops in Pennsylvania, Trump frequently said he was "a very smart guy" and knew the state well because he went to Wharton.
When PennLive tried to delve into his academic record in the summer, a school spokesman said it's university policy to not release such information other than confirming graduation. In Gwenda Blair's 2001 book, "The Trumps: Three Generations of Builders and a President," she said Trump transferred into Wharton from Fordham University with help from family connections. The president's older brother, Freddy Trump, knew an admissions counselor at Wharton, she said.
That book and some reports in the 1980s claimed Trump didn't graduate first in his class and didn't graduate with honors.
A 1968 commencement program shared Friday by the Daily Pennsylvanian backs that up. It shows that Trump graduated from the undergraduate school of finance and commerce, but he did not graduate at the top of his class or with honors.”
Showing up on such a list does not necessarily mean graduation. Either you graduated or the time to complete your degree end, and you didn't finish. If Trump has a degree it more of a special studies certificate in real estate. That means know Real math, and not Trump math.
Trump was graduated first in his class at Wharton. Nobody has academic credentials that match his.
Trumpers lie about the most mundane stuff. The graduation program from Trump’s year is available online. He graduated with 0 honors. Not even Dean’s List.
Sally has been pushing that lie for at least a decade.
The right wing trolls are out aggressively tonight after their crushing defeat in Minnesota.
It will get worse. The Border Patrol is calling for the ouster of Noem and Miller. Liar Leavitt has thrown them under the bus.
Leavitt: Nobody here at the White House, including the President of the United States, wants to see Americans hurt or killed and losing their lives in American streets.
The two big disasters of the Trump administration, the ones that have hurt him most politically, have been tariffs and the immigration crackdown. Nationalism is poison. Morally and economically, but thankfully politically too. I wonder how popular Trump would be if he just focused on deregulation, cutting taxes, ending DEI, being corrupt, and trying to arrest his enemies. He can still sell pardons and hawk crypto. Just avoid the economically illiterate stuff and sending armed agents into the streets to harass people.
I think it's a valid point. If he had dropped the tariff crap, and just pursued deregulation (along with focusing on trans sports) with a side of prosecuting his enemies, I could have seen his approval rating being at 55-60% if the economy was booming and not stunted by tariff policy, let alone tariff policy that changes on a dime

Because accountability would follow. Trump is past that point. That is why stuff like being concerned with polling and public opinion like normal political leaders does not factor in to the administration's actions.
America was too dumb to realize that an insurrection that goes unpunished was just a dress rehearsal. But don't too feel bad Trump voters. History is full of citizens just like you that were captivated by a perceived "strongman" that would make everything great again.
Tell me how many programs list those who graduate with honors, high honors, and highest honors in the commencement program but don’t have the top student listed among those groups (and student who would necessarily be in the summa group).
Many top students request their schools not release information like that because they will be targeted by gold diggers. Women will see that Joe Schmo graduated with highest honors and they will go after those valedictorians.
Yes, I'm sure the nerds at the top of the class would hate women to find out how successful they are.

Your lamest attempt yet.
His family bragged/ lied about it in a New York Times op-ed.

You’re spinning in circles.
Oh come on, we talking about Donald Trump here.
If we know anything about the man, we know he's never one to brag.
Another trumpian accomplishment: Being so awful at his job that the Dems have built a giant, 2nd-term-high gap in the generic congressional ballot. 7 points!
You guys know how to pick the big achievers! Guys who know how to get things done! In this case, the accomplishment is destroying whatever popularity they once had, and doing it very very effectively.

You forgot to mention his Wharton degree paved the way, in some part, to a 2-time President of the United States and most powerful man who has ever lived, considering the circumstances.
His book alone is more valuable reading than any college degree unless you are a Doctor and perhaps lawyer. Otherwise, without reading his book, your degree is useless far as preparing you to understand the World we live in.
You simply have no idea. Which is you have put this World in such a mess. Trump has nothing to do with its. He wrote you a blueprint and he telegraphs everything he is thinking of accomplishing. Y*ll just want to believe a college degree from an Ivy League school prepares you better than a high school kid who has read his book, and the joke is on you. A tough pill but you must swallow it.

you’re a strange cat. frolic around with a 1776 handle but chirping like you have a swastika tattooed on your chest. I bet you believe very strongly in gun control.

You sure do talk a lot about his book,, little fanboy. Probably explains why you're a loser that spends your days on this forum.
Big movie release coming out. And when I say big, I mean Tremendously big. Biggly big! Like the release of Don Jr's book big!!!
Melania Trump: "It was wonderful to have so many world leaders with me on Saturday from all different fields, and we were celebrating it and the reception of the movie, of the film, was very warm ... the audience will experience many different emotions"

Eh. I think he pushes to see what he can get away with, but I think you’re casting it as more nefarious than it is. Perhaps you don’t buy the WSJ assessment of Trump’s “frustration” in watching the weekend’s events in Minnesota. He seems at least somewhat aware of public sentiment (even apart from the protesters themselves and the far Left), and he wanted a change. For me, that doesn’t excuse decisions by anyone in the administration who advocated the previous tack, but it indicates some concern about things like polls.
"There’s only one thing I like about Trump: He has an unbelievable capacity to humiliate his most ardent defenders by hanging them out to dry after they’ve defended the indefensible on his behalf."

His Frustration with the weekend events does not have anything to do with the guy that was killed. Nor with the citizens. Nor polling. It is all about him. He thinks it makes himself look bad. That is all. Every dictator must look good at all times. See Trump parades. See Trump arch. See Ballroom.
Don't mistake his malignant narcissism with political voter concern.
“Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar who advocated for a more targeted approach to deportations, was en route to Minneapolis to take charge. Bovino, the face of the hard-edge approach employed in Minnesota, …”
Of course, even this change is an answer to the fools who bleat out garbage about how anyone who criticizes what’s been going on is just someone who wants to protect dangerous criminals.
There are myriad ways of doing things, some better and some worse.
Homan can’t undo problems stemming from recruitment and training issues, and he can’t undo all the damage of recent animosity, which affects even good officers trying to to their job correctly. But we’ll see if he’s able to produce a better way of going about locating and deporting criminals.
