What is important is that the administration publicly supports covering up murders, and publicly says the second amendment rights do not apply when they do not want them to apply.
I wonder if we as a nation will see the overturning of the SCOTUS presidential immunity ruling...
It is hard to quantify the damage that we are seeing because of that ruling. Imagine if Trump never got that ruling. Putting aside that his cases might have made it to trial and he would have been convicted. Imagine how different he would be ruling during a hypothetical Trump 2.0 if he was restrained by criminal prosecution.
I question whether we will ever go back. We have lost the ability to learn from things.
Texas has 2.1M undocumented immigrants and Florida has 1.2M. Minnesota has 130,000. Don't let anyone tell you this is about immigration. It never was.
If a person has any objectivity left in them, they have to be at least wondering about the purpose of the ICE deployment in Minneapolis. I was looking at one photo of the Pretti killing and there were at least 9 ICE agents in one photo. Probably a lot more at the scene. That street is a commercial area, primarily restaurants and markets and apartments for millennials. It's a generally younger, gentrified area of the city. There are no Mexicans or Somalians there, unless they are bussing tables in sanctuary restaurants or dropping off riders. You can't help but wonder why at least 9 ICE agents are hanging around that area on a Saturday morning, instead of sweeping some barrio in filthy Miami or LA where they could have a field day deporting Mexicans and running up their stats.
I saw Bovino (I think) saying at a press conference that ICE was in that Minneapolis area looking for one guy. One guy. You don't need a 9+ guys to arrest one guy on a warrant. SWAT teams don't even need 9+ guys to arrest bank robbers with machine guns holed up in a stash house. Obama only sent 20 Navy Seals traveling in helicopters in the dark over enemy territory to get bin Laden (and all his evidence) in a fortified residence in Pakistan. You don't need 9+ ICE agents to arrest one guy.
And I'm seeing a lot of reports that ICE showed up at a planned protest, not the other way around. There is no reason for ICE to show up at a protest. That's a city police job. It seems more and more that at least some ICE teams are being deployed in Minneapolis just to start sh!t with protestors and get media attention. You don't send 2,000 ICE agents to the whitest state in the nation because you want to deport Mexicans. You send 2,000 ICE agents to Florida, Texas, California where all the Mexican invaders actually live if you want to do that. You send ICE agents to Minnesota if you want to antagonize citizens, get spectacle videos of confrontations with the public, and build some weirdo fake record against Minnesota government.
So you're saying tRump is committing fraud again. Same fraud that turned a bankrupted president into a multi billionaire.
I can’t help thinking about historical parallels to Trump.
I wonder if the citizens in Iraq and elsewhere got into debates at tea houses (there was no internet) where people would defend Sadam Hussein and his son’s pilfering the country.
Saying stuff like he was a brilliant oil man and graduated at the top of his class at an Islamic University so he deserved it.

Trump was criticized for alleged self-enrichment even though he didn't really enrich himself in his first term. Now that he's doing much more to get $ during his second term, the amount of complaining is the same.
And, frankly, I don't really care. If Trump truly makes America great during his second term (economy booming, secure border, woke defeated, ban on men in women's sports, etc) I have no problem if he nets $10+ billion when doing so.

So you are one of the ones that would have been chanting for Sadam in front of his hundreds of statues.

what he's saying is that he's not law and order, he doesn't care about the constitution, he doesn't care about democracy, he only cares about his 4-5 issues.

other reasons to send 3000 armed rubes with guns to MN:
to give them some training and inure them to the pain of bashing civilians over the head and tear gassing them. Each time you bash someone over the head you feel less queasy about it. These same troops will be sent to other cities soon, used to punching and beating civilians.
the more rubes you send to MN, the more likely one will get shot and killed. Dead ICE stormtroopers is the fervent wet-dream hope of Trump. Piles of them dead, bleeding out. Oh man that would be the best day of Piggie's life. The absolute best.

But doesn't it matter how he nets the $10 billion? If he leverages the Presidential Office to sell Bibles or vodka or shoes, it's gluttonous and cheapens and demeans the Office of the Presidency (if not the entire country), but so be it. This is America and more power to him, is what I understand you to be saying.
But that Qatari plane? Give a bunch of Islamic terrorist security threats a military facility on US soil in graft exchange for a $400 million custom 747. It reeks of multiple felonies. How do you give Trump a pass on that? I'll never understand you hard-core MAGAs. Something happened to your minds to make you stick your heads in the sand and p!ss all over every moral and Constitutional principle you ever possessed. Constantly too.

You don’t care if he steals $10 billion?
Releasing his own memecoin is not stealing. Nor is creating his stablecoin.
Trump has always wanted retribution. He has never been the type to "turn the other cheek". He's much more Roman - kill your enemies and salt the earth.
