Other country leaders at first thought they could appeal to Trump's narcissism with flattery, but that didn't work. So they tried trade deals that made minimal concessions but made Trump look like he had negotiated something new. Then he started threatening invasions and demanding extortion money.
Couple that with an actual military incursion and theft of a country's export ships, blowing up booats and sinking all evidence. The first world is now largely abandoning the US as a reliable ally. They will continue trade because it works for them financially, but as Canada did, they will make alliances elsewhere and begin to shift their trade also. This does not even touch on the domestic damage to government oversight, education, personal freedoms, trust in government, labor force, institutions that were previously non partisan and helping people domestically and abroad.
Trump & friends will make billions and America will be crippled for decades if not permanently.

The only reason Trump's destruction of the US economy is not seen in stock prices is because reinventing Global distribution channels takes some time. But it is happening. And the dollar continues to melt. And the dollar can be obliterated if any of our new "enemies" want to help it.

So? If you're a foreigner you're a guest. You can be deported. I can't be deported for criticizing Trump (or Biden) because I'm a citizen. Only citizens have the right to live in the US - for everyone else (even green card and others) it's a privilege, not a right.
