He's not a moron at all. We've been saying that since before the season started. Last year is your example of a strong year. The top 3 teams from last year would've easily won this year's meet, four if Dylan Gearinger was healthy. For example, this year's WashU team was clearly much weaker than last year's, yet they only finished 11 points short of getting the exact same place. North Central finished 18 points short of the same place they got last year despite having an infinitely weaker team.
