You should reread this then. This poster put you in the corner.
Well, seeing as how neither of these things occurred, I’m not sure why you’re pounding the table on this.
For those playing at home, contrary to what Harambe said, Novak did not have a slide in late 2023. He won the ATP Masters in mid-November and then focused on his big Olympic year in 2024. It is true that he got a flu during the Australian Open in January 2024 and bowed out in the semifinal to a convicted doper in Jannik Sinner. Harambe immediately pounced and proudly proclaimed Djokovic had “long Covid” right after that happened.
Djokovic, ever focused on Olympic gold, the crowning achievement for his career, pulled out of the Paris Open. He did, however, make the Wimbledon final and win the Olympic gold medal. Neither one of those things would’ve been possible if a person was truly suffering long Covid. It’s as if we are sitting here pretending Djokovic made every grand slam final he ever played in and, even more ridiculously, won them all. When none of that ever happened.
I previously proclaimed that Djokovic would retire by 38 at the latest. Pro tennis players are usually done at 35. If Djokovic retires this year or next, am I going to come on here and proudly proclaim what a genius I am? Of course not. I don’t know why liberals on here like Harambe carry on with the schadenfreude. It, along with a partisan and ethically bankrupt media, undermined public health and trust in the three-letter agencies. It also lost them an election. But they continue to double down. Boggles the mind.
