This is strange to me too. I would want to say I could let that go if in a vacuum yet, from that angle, how is he able to hit Trump’s ear only? Nevermind hardcore ballistics and study of trajectory, just rudimentary drawing of lines makes that seem highly unusual/impossible.

I am a bit confused. I agree that this shooting should never have happened, but it was not an attack on democracy as neither Trump nor Biden fully support democracy. To support democracy you can never talk bad about an opponent- except for their opinions or actions. In a democracy a political leader would not lie as lying to get voters is an attack on democracy. A leader supporting democracy would never go against science. They have both done all these things

One thing that we can be sure of, is that Trump as a man of integrity will certainly not use this incident where one of his attendees dies and another is critically injured to petty fundraise from his small dollar low income donors. Instead as a selfless human being he will focus all the media attention on the victims and refuse to make this about himself.
