But, what you’re missing is that most people, including many GOP and libertarians cannot stand Trump. The GOP had a chance to shed him in 2020 and they elected not to. As unethical as it was for Dems to prop up M.A.G.A. candidates with their war chest, only to knock them down (and it was extremely unethical), it couldn’t have worked unless even people on the right had completely tired of Trump.

Yes, the young electorate and leftward electorate doesn’t realize that abortion is not and can not be a Constitutionally-protected right as it isn’t in many Western nations. But, it was still a massive unforced error, because the SCOTUS overturned its OWN ruling.

At the end of the day, these GenZ blue-haired baristas are not the ones paying taxes (other than incrementally), seeking advanced education in law and economics, or risking capital to create companies and jobs and deal with all the bull$hit that comes with that. They vote purely based on propaganda and emotion. So why give them more ammo? There is no better ammo than Trump and the SCOTUS decision.

The sooner you guys realize this, the sooner you can get back to winning.

I'm not here to convince anyone. If you're on a running forum trying to shape your world view you're not a serious person.

I don't like Trump either. I simply like Trump more than Hillary or Biden. And I liked that the establishment cronies that profit off war and corruption LOATHED him.

So long as we live in a 2 party system it is always a lesser of 2 evils choice.

The SCOTUS decision while politically inconvenient was the CORRECT legal decision. One thing I much prefer about conservatives over liberals is that the justices they appoint will always make the legal decision they think is correct in the law while the liberals will virtually always make the political decision.

It sounds like you think every Supreme Court ruling should be final. Should Dredd Scott or Plessy v Ferguson still be the law of the land since they were SCOTUS decisions?

Again, I agree w you on your salient points about SCOTUS and political convenience versus legal veracity. No, not every decision is final. But you also can’t be tone deaf and have to read the room. This is a huge reason why the GOP massively underachieved in the midterms. SCOTUS could’ve stopped at the 15-week MS ruling.
