Under the same agreement Russia wasn't supposed to invade Chechnya, Crimea, or what was left of Ukraine after Crimea either, so there's that.

The pro-Russia/Putin guys never comment on that. It's all justified in their heads, or worse, Russia was provoked into all this behavior.

Russian State TV threatening America and its allies, which was a weekly occurrence for much of April and May, never seemed to merit comment from the pro-Russians fans here.

It will be a great day in the free world, when Russia no longer exists in any recognizable form. We've been expending uncountable, vast resources, time, energy and lives dealing with, and even indulging, this freak, psycho culture for many decades now. We knew it was the long game, and had great hopes for a possible positive outcome circa 1991, but now its clear Russia needs to be gone, and the sooner the better for humankind. (My guess is 7-10 years).

Emerging details of deals made with Turkey to permit Sweden and Finland's NATO candidacy invitations:

The US is arranging delivery of F-16s to Turkey. No mention of Turkey's re-admission to the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35) program, which would impact Turkey's own 5th-Generation "Islamic" fighter jet project with Pakistan.

Sweden and Finland are to permit extradition of 33 political refugees to Turkey.

Turkey abolished the Death Penalty a while back, but are talking about reinstating it specifically for these prisoners.

Also unclear is the fate of outlaw cleric Fethullah Gulen, being sheltered by the US.

Ukraine releases video of a Kremenchuk missile strike.

A clear view of the missile is shown in two frames. This discounts Russian claims the mall strike was due to fire spreading from second strike at the factory said to be housing arms.

The news commentator (link below) also states the missile appears to be a "1960s medium range cruise missile originally designed to attack aircraft carriers and relatively inaccurate."

To be fair, the only Russians that need to die are the ones willing to fight for the destruction of Ukraine. I have nothing against them personally, I just value the existence of a free Ukraine over their collective lives. If Putin would order the immediate withdrawal of Russians troops and the return of Crimea, then I would only be supporting the death penalty for the countless Russian terrorists that have been committing heinous war crimes (including Putin and his senior administration).

Nearly 2 years later and the Ukraine-supporting sheep can't deny it anymore. Ukraine will lose and surrender territory for peace.

Ukraine is losing badly and has resorted to randomly firing missiles at civilians.

Russian will keep the land it had already taken. The only questions remaining are how much more land it will take and whether the Ukraine military’s final desperate acts will include provocations that will make their loss go from bad to catastrophic.

Interesting. Because Russia has been. Intentionally firing missiles at civilians since the beginning of the war.

Russia has killed less than 10000 Ukraine civilians over 23 months. Israel has killed over 22000 civilians in 2 1/2 months.

I'm not talking about Israel. I'm stating the fact that Russia has been deliberately targeting civilians since the beginning of the war.

I guess Putin shouldn’t have started a war where he wouldn’t be able to keep Russians safe. He could end the war any time he chooses by ordering Russian troops out of Ukraine. Until then, every dead Russian civilian is because of Putin’s actions (and fragile ego).
