The implication here is that maybe protestors shouldn't disrupt peaceful worship services with contentious protests inside a church.
the question is if a journalist should be arrested for covering a protest.
that's the question.
You say 'yes.'
the courts say 'no.'
Again, putting words in my mouth. I never said that.
Propagating and inciting interactions inside of a contentious protest to get click bait views on YouTube, during church services (pretty disrespectful), instead of simply leaving may or may not be worthy of arrest, but it certainly doesn't seem morally genuine. It's also convenient for him as a get out of jail free card to claim "journalist" when he is unemployed. Anyone can, in that case, right?
I don't really care, though, to be honest. I've never liked the guy. I always felt like he was pushing a false narrative instead of doing honest "journalism." I think it backfired because it makes the protestors look pretty bad.
The U.S. and its NATO allies, primarily the U.K., Canada and Norway, have been expanding military presence in the Arctic region for decades. (The addition of Sweden and Finland to NATO has been enormous in terms of NATO's Arctic military presence and security). The expansion really began in the late 1990s when the U.S. Pentagon (DOD/DOW) determined, before most others (and contrary to what many idiots still believe), that climate change was going to open up the Arctic to commercialization as well as corresponding military security concerns.
Contrary to MAGA belief, Trump was not the first person to look at a globe and notice the location of Greenland in the Arctic region, and he was not the first one to draw up a map of possible Russian missile trajectories. There were many others before him, including the defense departments of the US (Pentagon) and most NATO allies, which have drawn up plans and assessments regarding Arctic military security for many years now. NATO has agreed and re-agreed continuously and going back many years to continue Arctic military and security initiatives.
Recent political hype and sensationalism regarding Greenland has been (1) based on fake premises and target audience ignorance (2) very detrimental to America's relationships with key allies, (3) detrimental to American business and (4) foolish spectacle.
Trump was looking at a globe or a map? That’s funny. A billionaire named Ron Lauder was the person who proposed purchasing Greenland to Trump:
As usual with Trump, the message is "America needs this", but he slips up often and gives the real reasons: money for him and his cronies. Venezuela is about oil. Gaza is about real estate deals. Greenland is about mining minerals, as is Ukraine. Vietnam tariffs lowered for a real estate deal. Syria sanctions lifted for a real estate deal. Multiple horrendous criminals pardoned after "donations".

ok so you have changed your mind. Now you agree with the court. It takes a big man to admit he was wrong.
what you called "Judicial misconduct' you are now saying was the right decision.
Good job! Progress. Keep it up and you will be back to supporting the Constitution!

Incorrect. You're very good at ignoring what I am saying and making things up.

You aren't making any sense. You want it both ways. You want to call it 'judicial misconduct' but you also say you have no idea if it was judicial misconduct.
He got all of our European Allies to fully appreciate that they need to actively seek more trade deals with China.
In Davos, he announced his "Board of Peace" and no first world countries participated. They can see it is another Trump grift to make money bypassing the rules of NATO. Russia expressed interest if billions of their blood money was released, the primary country we are absolutely sure has no interest in peace.
"He told the group, ranging from Azerbaijan to Paraguay to Hungary, “You’re the most powerful people in the world.” Hahahaha!

More importantly, it has support from some of the key players in the region and the whole world: the UAE, Hungary, Pakistan, Israel, etc.

Sorry, bananas, AND (oily, authoritarian) dates.
I presume that Marco looks at the list above and beams with pride. Cuz he knows how good it is.
Last week the White House confirmed a founding “Executive Board,” to “operationalize the Board of Peace’s vision.” These are the members of the Executive Board. Marco Rubio, U.S. Secretary of State Steve Witkoff, U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law Sir Tony Blair, former U.K. prime minister Marc Rowan, CEO, Apollo Ajay Banga, World Bank president Robert Gabriel, security advisor
(and, of course, Trump is the chairman)
Strong credentials for that third guy (and at least Hunter was a biological son).
Gazans gotta be feeling pretty good about the international all-star team lined up to help them !! Just need PUTIN as the cherry on top!
Jack Smith’s testimony reminds me of a simple fact we all know, but is useful to stay reminded of as we watch the nonsensical actions of this administration: they are all literally fighting for their freedom from lawful prosecution. The receipts stack is large and growing by the day.
It’s one of the simple truths at the center of all of this. They know they’re criminals that face monumental consequences if US law can ever again find its footing. Every action and statement they make takes this truth into consideration.
Our advantage is they’re very dumb and sloppy. Our disadvantage is ~35% of the country is even dumber and sloppier.
The CLINCHER is that ANOTHER ~15% will vote for them.
I think there's a much larger number of deeply cynical people in this country than many of us realized. What we see as repulsive and depraved they see as a social pass to be the deeply flawed and irredeemable people they are. They enjoy a post fact society. They drool over the idea that "nothing is my fault if I simply don't admit fault." They've never been intellectually curios enough for nuanced thought nor empathetic and humane enough for the complexity of feeling sorrow and solidarity for anyone who isn't themselves. We approach this time by showing to their faces their own cognitive dissonance, false correlations, and misery-motivators, but they've never cared that any of these things are true about themselves; they're just happy to be living in a world that seemingly no longer cares how pathetic they are.
nah it's just team red vs team blue
former conservatives want to make Dems cry more than they want to be good people or preserve democracy and civil liberties.
but in real life, if you need help, these people would be there for you. They aren't devoid of empathy. They just let Trump manipulate them into hatred of city folks.
Same thing is in 1984. Unite a group via hatred for the other team. Oh yeah, the Nazis did that too.
You're being too kind to a whole lot of them. If you help your neighbor put out their trash this morning, but don't care if ICE abuses them this afternoon.......your "net goodness" ain't good, at all.
Republicans spent the entire hearing accusing Jack Smith of prosecuting Trump for political reasons and falsely claiming he was being directed by Biden and Garland. Ironically, while they were doing that, Trump was telling Bondi on Truth Social that she should prosecute Smith.
To prosecute Smith because he was not allowing Trump's first amendment right to say WHATEVER he wants. Never mind all the people Trump us targeting for saying whatever they want.

...ditto, of course, f*** your healthcare, and f*** your cost of living, and f*** your democracy, and f*** your desire for your government not to be hugely corrupt, and f*** your desire not to have your country be a murderous bully, and f*** your desire not to have the weight of the federal government come down on people who the president simply doesn't like, and......

One of the Reps, from Florida, did a good job listing ALL of the people who Trump is going after at this minute.
Fake and Fraudulent Polling should be, virtually, a criminal offense. As an example, all of the Anti Trump Media that covered me during the 2020 Election showed Polls that were knowingly wrong. They knew what they were doing, trying to influence the Election, but I won in a Landslide, including winning the Popular Vote, all 7 of the 7 Swing States, the Electoral College was a route, and 2,750 Counties to 525. You can’t do much better than that, and yet if people examined The Failing New York Times, ABC Fake News, NBC Fake News, CBS Fake News, Low Ratings CNN, or the now defunct MSDNC, Polls were all fraudulent, and bore nothing even close to the final results. Something has to be done about Fraudulent Polling. Even the Polls of FoxNews and The Wall Street Journal have been, over the years, terrible! There are great Pollsters that called the Election right, but the Media does not want to use them in any way, shape, or form. Isn’t it sad what has happened to American Journalism, but I am going to do everything possible to keep this Polling SCAM from moving forward!
The Times Siena Poll, which is always tremendously negative to me, especially just before the Election of 2024, where I won in a Landslide, will be added to my lawsuit against The Failing New York Times. Our lawyers have demanded that they keep all Records, and how they “computed” these fake results — Not just the fact that it was heavily skewed toward Democrats. They will be held fully responsible for all of their Radical Left lies and wrongdoing!
Market up again. I hate LOL to bring this up again but while skimming the first page yesterday waiting for an appointment I saw a thread titled something like "The Market is Tanking." LOL Thanks for the jinx bro. I wonder, did the mods delete it or did the OP delete it? LOL. $20 says the OP posted that news with glee from his cubicle. America.
I haven’t looked to see if this follows any recent discussion.
The mental gymnastics are never surprising, but they sometimes get more comical than at other times.
Today’s offering:
Jesse Watters claims that, for all of the charges leveled against Mr. Trump, no one calls him dumb.
Yes, he actually said that with a straight face, and with full awareness (as full as the awareness might be for Mr. Watters, who isn’t actually all that dumb, just a willingly deluded above-average-but-not-particularly-bright intellect who grifts shamelessly and exudes a well-nigh inhuman lack of self-awareness as he flops from contortion to contortion in the mental gymnastics required of a hardcore Trump supporter).
Yup: From the pre-Apprentice days to the days of evasive answers about what his favorite books are, to the struggle-to-pronounce-acetaminophen days, to the Iceland-Greenland days, nobody — I say NOBODY — would think to call Mr. Trump a lesser intellectual light.
