What happened was Trump talked to the Secretary of NATO and they RE-agreed on something the US and NATO had never disagreed on in the first place -- to plan for continued expansion of NATO military presence in the Arctic region. That is something the Pentagon, NATO, UK, Canada, Norway and yes even Denmark have been working on since the 90s when the Pentagon determined (before everyone else did) that global warming was going to open up Arctic exploration and commercialization.
So yes, Trump seems to have backed down off his whacko Greenland ideas that probably every military officer and his few normal staff members warned him off, and we will now proceed with projects like joint American-UK-Canadian-Danish detection and missile sites throughout northern Canada, Greenland, and Iceland (probably Alaska too). You know, stuff that makes sense.

Trump does his Taco thing on European Tariffs saying he has “ framework of a Greenland deal”
COLLINS: Does it include the US having ownership of Greenland? TRUMP: It's a long term deal. It's the ultimate long term deal COLLINS: How long is it? TRUMP: Infinite. There is no time limit. It's a deal that's forever.
Trump floated a new nickname for Joe Biden in June, according to three people who heard it: “The guy’s a retard. He’s retarded. I think that’s what I’ll start calling him. Retarded Joe Biden.”

Polymarket data indicates that Kevin Warsh currently has a 53% probability of being appointed as the next Federal Reserve Chair. According to Odaily, Rick Rieder's chances have increased to 27%, while Kevin Hassett's likelihood has decreased to 5%. Christopher Waller's probability stands at 11%.
Warsh is incredibly qualified - he'd be a good pick.
If Denmark chose to weaponize Maersk, they have several theoretical avenues: Port & Logistics Shutdown: Maersk handles an estimated 15–20% of all containerized imports into the U.S. If the Danish government ordered Maersk to cease calls to U.S. ports, it would cause immediate supply chain chaos, leading to shortages of consumer electronics, retail goods, and industrial components. Military Logistics: Through its subsidiary Maersk Line, Limited (MLL), Maersk is a primary logistics provider for the U.S. Department of Defense. It operates U.S.-flagged ships that transport military equipment globally. A withdrawal would severely hamper U.S. military mobility.
Trump just called off the tariffs. The framework of a future deal is apparently there but who knows how developed it is. Also (which I think is good) he said - earlier today - the US won't use force to acquire Greenland.
