Mountain had competition to run that 5k sutton has yet to be in a race where he hasnt lead more than half of the race. will be interesting to see if he gets put in a fast race to actually see what he can do. I wouldnt be surprised to see Dinzeo open up at Boston. Melius looks like to be in good shape with that 4:14. Could they put together a DMR to do something? Ship's DMR at bucknell wasnt very impressive even without Burleigh on it. DMR is probably going to need to go 9:55 to get in.
here we go again giving ship the benefit of the doubt, try to contain your favoritism. he has ran very well, but lets let him show something real before a comparison like that this is very similar to trying to compare mountain to dinzeo, so lets take our bias goggles off.
I think brayden Burleigh has serious potential in the 3k after the strength he had in cross country. He's a mile ncaa champion with an already impressive 3k pr. I'm calling Burleigh in the 3k over everyone including dinz at psac!

I hope everyone now understands why Ship gets the benefit of the doubt once track season rolls around. Lock Haven owns the conference in the fall, but track is a different sport.
Word on the street is that the bubble at edinboro got a hole in it from all the snow. Will this effect anything for PSACs? Is it that bad? Can we just have it at Bucknell again seemed to workout pretty well last year

Is this real or someone trolling? Bucknell worked out pretty well besides spelling University wrong on the t-shirt, 60,000 a year apparently doesn't teach you how to spell!
Yea the picture that was seen is a regular occurrence at the bubble. Conferences will still be held there. Although it would be a lot better for conversions if the meet was held at bucknell again. Bucknell didnt have anything to do with the spelling of the t-shirts it was one of the teams that designed the shirt. But i think its time for predictions since the acceptance list is out for whos running what. No Burleigh in the mile. No Mountain in the 5k,3k.

Im going to have to go with the Ship sweep in the events. Kehl looks like he will be fresh or in a relay the previous day. Spangler will probably be on a relay as well and will be going up against Melius who looks like he will be on the DMR the day before and will probably have to try a little harder because of ships depth. Burleigh is not running the mile so assuming that he will be trying to run fast to qualify in that. Sutton in the 5k with no mountain in it should have no problem winning since he has been running phenomenal all year. Relays come down to ships depth in the events.

My understanding is Suiton went into the race sick, and still wanted to go for a qualifier.
Didn't see this coming^ who gives a shit if he was sick that happens. There's what we talk about when we say they always get the benefit of the doubt. No he lost by 13 seconds, end of story. Even if he had competed with mains who knows how much faster mains would ha've gone if he had competition.
I will also say however brayden Burleigh is deserving of his benefits being as accomplished as he is.

Since you were responding to me when you put this up.
1) I never said Sutton would win the 5k. Zach Mains is a deserving PSAC champ who was clearly the runner best prepared to win that race.
2) This weekend only proved my point about Ship being better in track. Ship scored 72 distance/mid-d points, more than anyone in the conference.
3) In the 800, 3k, and 5k Ship scored a combined 59 points, the rest of the PSAC scored a combined 58.
If you don't think Ship is the best distance mid-distance squad in the conference, you haven't been paying attention.

It's absolutely insane that Zach Mains didn't make nationals in the 5k. 2 hundredths of a second from the 16 seed and almost 3 full seconds in front of the next seed.
I'll never understand how the NCAA committee can look at the nationals list, and see a senior 2 hundredths of a second behind the last man in and decide to cut him. That decision is horrible on every level. Zach Mains deserved better.

I thought he was looking like he had a legit shot to do serious damage at nationals running 14:36 over a month and a half ago. 2) imagine how fast he and Zach would have gone if he was there those two seem to really feed off each other when they're on, we may have seen two lhu men in the 5k at nats with real potential to score when has that happened last?
