This is surreal. The whole purpose of this surety is that this "insurer" will put up the money if Trump is found guilty. Now it is looking like this fraudster doesn't have that money to put up. And it is being reported that the agreement between Hankey and Trump was not to provide the actual money. Instead it was to go after Trump's assets only if he is unsuccessful in his appeal. That is not the purpose of the bond!

This Hankey has run afoul of the law a few other times as he operated his sub-prime auto loan operations.

Please tell me, who could have possibly foreseen that Trump would hook up with a financial fraudster to help him?

And when Trump secured the fraudulent financing of course, he went out and started bragging about how rich he was and this guy was proof.

Why is a percentage of this country still allowing the fraudster to defraud them right out in the open?

Trump is running for President BECAUSE of his legal troubles. We all said that when he announced. The national media said it was very strange and not beneficial that he announced so early. He announced so he could use the "political witch hunt" excuse because he knew he was legally screwed. Everyone was talking and he knew it.

The GOP used to couch their tax cuts for billionaires in deceptive language like "supply side" economics. Trump is too stupid to do that anymore. Now he just comes out and says, "I am going to give you rich guys huge tax cuts". Not even pretending that it has any benefit to the country's economy.
