PETE BUTTIGIEG (who has a constant security detail): "I can safely walk my dog to the Capitol today in a way that you couldn't do when we all got here!" Last year, D.C. had its deadliest year in 20+ years and saw the largest violent crime spike of any major U.S. city.
Why are you downvoting? You are okay with being lied to if the person lying is a Democrat? Mayor Pete is intimating that DC is safer than ever when it is more dangerous than ever.

It is really odd to say "You are okay with being lied to if the person lying is a Democrat?" and then immediately follow it with a lie.
Next time, try not lying. You might find it refreshing.
The form consists of 42 questions, including where potential jurors get their news, a week before jury selection gets underway in the New York criminal trial.
The posts from the former president came after the senator from South Carolina said he “respectfully” disagreed with Trump’s stance on abortion Monday.
JFC.. everyone who deals with Trump ends up getting buttfkd
"Looks like there is a real possibility that this Don Hankey-owned Knight Specialty Insurance does not itself have liquidity, and did not get from Trump collateral, sufficient to provide legally cognizable assurance that it can pay $175 million on demand in the event of a judgment-affirming appeal,"
"But the Trumpian part is that even though, or perhaps because, it may be part of a Trump scam, Knight now too may be on the hook for $175 million as it won't automatically get out from underneath its own proffered surety."

This is surreal. The whole purpose of this surety is that this "insurer" will put up the money if Trump is found guilty. Now it is looking like this fraudster doesn't have that money to put up. And it is being reported that the agreement between Hankey and Trump was not to provide the actual money. Instead it was to go after Trump's assets only if he is unsuccessful in his appeal. That is not the purpose of the bond!
This Hankey has run afoul of the law a few other times as he operated his sub-prime auto loan operations.
Please tell me, who could have possibly foreseen that Trump would hook up with a financial fraudster to help him?
And when Trump secured the fraudulent financing of course, he went out and started bragging about how rich he was and this guy was proof.
Why is a percentage of this country still allowing the fraudster to defraud them right out in the open?

Wait a second, you’re telling me Pete has a dog house?

Yep... I mean you have to be shady, crazy or both to SEEK out trump to "help" him after knowing that every single reputable insurer has turned him down.

For the rubes that still believe Trump's BS that his legal troubles are only because he is running for President:
FACT: Cyrus Vance (New York DA at the time) began issuing subpoenas in the hush money payment case in August of 2019. FACT: Fani Willis launched her investigation into Trump in 2021. FACT: The United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack opened their investigation in July of 2021. FACT: Letitia James opened her New York City business fraud investigation into Trump in 2019. FACT: The National Archives first asked Donald Trump to return the classified documents he took in May of 2021. He only returned some, not all. So, in March of 2022, the FBI opened an investigation. That August, they searched Mar-a-Lago. Donald Trump announced his candidacy on November 15, 2022.
Trump is running for President BECAUSE of his legal troubles. We all said that when he announced. The national media said it was very strange and not beneficial that he announced so early. He announced so he could use the "political witch hunt" excuse because he knew he was legally screwed. Everyone was talking and he knew it.
The GOP used to couch their tax cuts for billionaires in deceptive language like "supply side" economics. Trump is too stupid to do that anymore. Now he just comes out and says, "I am going to give you rich guys huge tax cuts". Not even pretending that it has any benefit to the country's economy.

Tzees - when did Trump announce he was running again?
Tzees - when did Trump announce he was running again?
If you really want to get down to the nuts and bolts of it. The reason Jan 6th happened was because of Trump's known criminal liability. Is anyone dumb enough to believe Trump wanted so desperately to stay in power to serve the nation? To Make American Great?
Hell No! He wanted to keep his "can't indict a sitting President" immunity going to stay one step ahead of the law and keep grifting.

This is correct.. trump only cares about trump. He wanted the base to feel they were being witch hunted as he claims he is. And he has been threatening them ever since that if he's not elected they will all be fkd. Only cult members can't see that.
