My biggest short term interest is how his candidacy plays out in the arena. The reporters love Pete and Warren...they get those people. Rich white people with lots of ideas and who speak well. but that's just not a huge part of the democratic party.
Biden is old and moderate and not surprising. Reporters and pundits don't much like that. But that is a very large portion of the dem and indie electorate. And maybe even some Rs. So Biden will probably poll higher than the reporters understand.
Will be interesting.
This past weekend I was speaking to my niece and her husband who are in their early 30's and definite progressives and they weren't jumping up and down about a Biden candidacy. However they both can't stand the current POTUS and would vote for any Democrat. I think the concern with Biden and the Dems is does he bring out enough of the vote.
Biden would probably get a strong "Grandpa Joe" or "Uncle Joe" vote from an electorate just tired of the current POTUS's antics.

Yes, talking about today's polls are irrelevant. Creepy Uncle Joe will NEVER be Potus. Your zero percent comment is very Flagpolian- which means you will flop too.
Are you finally going to vote next year?

Creepy Joe has no chance but is up 8pts and the touchy feely stuff is pretty fresh news?
Yep I’m voting. You can thank Trump for that.
Alan
That Morning Consult Online Poll giving Biden an 8 point lead over Trump? They have a D+11 sample.
Doh!
There are more porn stars who have been banged by Trump than intelligent people who support him.
Fact.

Rigged always pretends that pollsters don't know how to do their job.
They adjust for the sample, Rigged.

Never thought I'd see the day when a Wally George quote made to the message boards.

This poll also has oversampled women: 53% vs 47%. It is a liberal bias and when a poll is stacked with democrats and women, of course the dem candidate will poll higher.
FAIL, Fat boy. Citing a poll over a year away from the election is foolish.
Biden has plenty of experience in losing presidential campaigns and Trump will crush him. Besides, the way your party had embraced socialism, an old establishment candidate is out of favor. Bernie is probably your front-runner.

I find it very interesting that Omar makes repeated anti-Semitic statements and you dems don't have the balls to condemn her and her support of Islam's repudiation of homosexuality.

I wasn't the one who cited the poll.
I'm just point out that you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to polling bias. Maybe you are just mathematically illiterate. You can't seem to grasp the concept that pollsters know how to adjust for bias in a polling sample.
The "creepy Joe" moniker makes me laugh. Yeah, Joe gives backrubs, but Trump grabs women by the p#ssy.

Trump said, "when you're a star, they let you....grab them by the pusssy." - which implies consent. Creepy Uncle Joe just cops a feel from behind, plagerized a law review journal during law school and plagerized campaign speeches.
Try again.

Oh I agree head to head polls don’t matter much at this point. At this point in 2007 Guilliani and Clinton were ahead by 10+ pts and they both lost. At this point in 2015 Trump was still just a joke and under 10%.
What should worry the GOP is that just about EVERY candidate is polling ahead of Trump in the majority of polls. Yes it’s early but it’s a bad sign. What’s also a bad sign is the consistent DROP in popularity in states he won by a razor thin margin to begin with. His popularity has dropped in EVERY state since the election, even red states. Even if you adjust the close states +5% R he still loses the three states he can’t afford to lose, WI, MI, PA.
I still stand by my prediction from a while back....he loses WI, MI, PA and will lose the election in a landslide. Probably losing OH and AZ. FL is questionable. GA or NC will flip. That’s the death knell. If Beto is the nominee Trump will lose TX.
About Beto. He’s been quietly going about doing his thing. Putting some 4000+ miles on his van. He’s doing town halls and I believe has visited more cities than anyone. He lacks a big idea but really so did Obama and Clinton early on. He’s been hesitant to do the cable news shows and town halls, which has hurt his position in the short run because the other meandering candidates like Buttigieg get a little more name recognition. He doesn’t have wonky ideas and his record is more conservative than 75% of Dems. I still believe we will see more of a shifting of the guard after the first debates and half of these candidates will drop after the first two primaries. I don’t think Buttigieg makes it out of Iowa.
I mean really....are we going to see the second election in a row with the oldest candidates ever?

An entire family who supports trump should apply for work in DC. He’s really struggling to keep staffed.

Incorrect. Here is the full quote:
“I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her. You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful—I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the pu$$y. You can do anything.”
Trump clearly is talking about forcing himself on women without their consent.
