There aren't a lot of people on the fence about Trump.

MSNBC covering the scandals of our President is "real news". There is next to nothing that is more real news than that. Definitely "legit" news stories from CNN about our serial lying incompetent criminal President. All Congressional members (at least the Democrats) can walk and chew gum at the same time.

You keep saying that he's a lousy person but his policies are good for the country. You have refused to list these "policies".

I will even give you that you might enjoy all his policies despite your refusal to list them. How can you put your trust in a President...the face and governor of our country...who lies to you constantly? How can you trust someone whose staff refuses to obey his orders because following those orders might put them in legal jeopardy? That staff wasn't elected. You are abdicating power from Trump to un-elected officials. They do this because they are following the law while Trump is not. How is that ok with you?

I don't need an answer. You should sit and ponder a bit.

Because both are new income streams... doesn't matter where that additional income comes from.

Saying it's somehow double or triple taxation is like saying a person who is taxed on overtime hours is somehow getting double taxed.

And, why the heck should anyone care that you could lose your investment if your stock price goes down... the investment is your choice... no one is forcing you to invest. Life is full of risk. What if the person who decides to take a second job to make more money gets hurt doing that job and then can't work.... should she/he get taxed at a lower rate because of that risk.

I think the B.Clinton comparisons are ignorant. His approval had a bump after the impeachment acquittal to 73%.....he then returned to his normal 55-65%.

Trump had a post-Barr Summary bump of maybe 1%. His post-Mueller Report drop has been maybe 2-3%. He’s already operating in a very narrow range of approval. Impeachment proceedings will not change that. All this stonewalling he’s doing is going to end up with people in contempt of Congress pretty much on his order. All he’s doing is feeding the flames. At this point though I think we’re a year late. It’s too close to the Democrat debates and primaries. What will happen is Congress will continue to investigate and kick the can down the road through 2020 to ensure the negative opinion on Trump remains.

He has the worst approval-disapproval gap of any president in modern history.

Timing is definitely getting to be an issue. It's a shame that a president under investigation has any power at all to disrupt or slow walk said investigation.

I still think the proper thing to do is ALWAYS begin impeachment proceedings (agreeing with Elizabeth Warren and several others now here) when a President does things that warrant impeachment proceedings, REGARDLESS of the potential political fallout.

As a side note, considering that Impeachment is a process, I actually consider the investigations the House is doing now really as part of that process. It isn't officially named that of course, but in effect that's what they are doing and why they are doing those investigations...to prepare for possible articles of impeachment.
