the problem with this thesis is that when a Dem is president the economy does better than when a Repub is president.

We haven't had a recession with Dem president in 45+ years.

But we've had multiple recessions with Repub presidents. In fac EVERY recession in the last 45+ years has come with a Repub president.

Same with stocks. Better with a Dem president.

Same with wars. Republicans start virtually all the recent wars. To this day.

Same with state government. The richest states are run by Dems, the poorest states by Repubs.

The Repubs tear down and destroy the country, the Dems get hired to fix it, then the Rs tear it down again.

For US to start mining on Greenland will possibly damage their own economy. The distances on the island are huge. The mining sites can only be reached by air because of their location in the country.

It can possibly lead to China taking Taiwan and then we are all toast because our technologies depends on Taiwan

Russia is a LOT closer to the U.S. than Greenland is to the U.S.

And Russia Takes Ukraine and the Baltic States.

If there is any intel related to China and Russia angling to take it over, then it’s a non debate issue. We take it. We make the locals wealthy and protect our homeland, especially with Canada teaming with China. When Biden was President all we heard from MAGA is that Russia is not a threat whatsoever to the US and their actions in Ukraine are their own business. In fact we are responsible because we scared them with NATO.

Now that Trump wants to corruptly invade another sovereign nation MAGA says that Russia indeed an existential threat to the US.

If China or Russia "take" Greenland then Denmark invokes Article 5 of NATO and suddenly Russia and China are at war with the United States.
