I don't understand why you people watch the channels of these people you have nothing in common with and clearly dislike, and then come here to complain about them. I don't even know what half of these people's channels look like because I've never gotten them recommended on my algorithm. Like really bruh why are you hate watching the channel of someone that jogs 20 miles a week

He has a good sense of humor and comes across as smart, but he always gives the highest praise to Puma and Asics shoes, which are sent to him for free—Puma even paid for his trip to Boston, for example. His latest video, where Asics’ new (super) daily trainer Megablast was praised for its “reasonable” price (225 dollars!!!), really made my blood boil. Nike shoes, on the other hand, he reviews in a completely different way (inspecting glue marks between the upper and the midsole), simply because Nike doesn’t send him free pairs. Also, he probably has the worst running form out of all the YouTubers.

CMR has played it well by having 3 dudes racing in the channel, it gives each of them time to properly put in the training in the background while another races. Unlike solo channels there's no pressure on them having to race every week for content

Crown/Jody Mills also has talent for what he does, namely a cutting, slightly irreverent commentary that both builds excitement and keeps the viewer amused. This couldn't be clearer from the increasing number of YouTubers copying the format and flippantly talking us through their 23 minute parkruns. Turns out there's more to it than simply describing the colour of someone's top. That there's three of them to rotate and keep things fresh is just a bonus.

And now all the Shoetubers are saying the new New Balance racing shoe is the greatest thing ever. Given that every other New Balance shoe they say is great then trash a year later when the update fixes the non-reported problems, I couldn't figure it out. Then I remembered New Balance sponsors the New York City Marathon. Anything for an influencer bib!!!

top channel for me this week is London Eats - a lad filming himself doing his deliveroo round, riveting stuff

The q on the run guys need to get hair cuts that match their age. Always find it a bit creepy, guys over 30 going around clean shaven with skin fades, you are not cooling anyone

The worst thing about him is that he pretends he is different and isn't a shill. Guy is a complete clown and pretends he knows everything and just gets his news from r/runningshoegeeks and his low iq followers lap it up.

floberg is so so pathetic with how clearly obsessed he is about being “fit” and looking good. you can tell the guy has an addiction to getting abs and looking good physically at this point it’s bizarre. I truly wonder how his wife feels lol. seems to be a full time caregiver for multiple children and floberg is just a running maniac and going on dope runs with his “bros” in Chicago and across the country.

shirtless posts and references his physical appearance in every Strava activity daily. The level of cringe is wild and I feel like I’m in the minority. I’m amazed how many fans and mainly grown men in their 20-30s keep feeding his ego with positive commentary. It’s almost like they’re bots but I realize they’re real people. I just do not understand how people can fan over a very average male runner (and a cynical annoying guy at that). the whole bpn cult is freaking weirdo man

I don't even subscribe to Ben is Running but his god awful thumbnails keep coming up in my recommended because I watch other channels.
It's so annoying that there's barely any honest shoe tubers these days because none of them actually want to get on the bad side of brands who give them free gear. Really pathetic. I'd love to hear of any recommendations for shoe tubers who are actually critical of current shoes.

Jog on Crago from Perth seems to be the only one i've found who's not afraid to take a dump on awful shoes.

Ben loved the Mizuno Neo Vista - They also happened to fly him to Paris for testing.
Ben loved the new Asics racers - Asics flew him to Tokyo for their 5km race.
