As if red cap wearing crazies showing up in large numbers to listen to Trump's victimhood didn't give it away, along with them giving up their hard earned money to defend him in court, all the above is evidence of a cult.
And you know what will happen when he loses again? They will take it as evidence that this form of government simply no longer works and we will hear them openly ask for a dictator type. They are irretrievably lost.
After my run this morning, In the parking lot I saw a M@GA pick up truck with the bumper sticker that said “Stealing Elections has Consequences” right next to an AK40 sticker. It made me wonder just how deep and fervent this belief must be for a person to seek out that bumper sticker, buy it and then advertise to the world that it is still his belief that Trump won and was cheated. Like he knows the truth and the rest of the world is lost.
You could write a novel on all the ways the big lie has been entirely debunked since 2020 and even debunked by people that Trump hired and paid millions to prove fraud took place! And none of that matters to a Trumper. None of it even registers because they prefer the words of Trump.
I honestly don’t believe anything can be done to make these people ever believe that any election that they do not win is not rigged. Even if you could miraculously come up with a bullet proof election system that had no possibilities of error or irregularities. These people are gone. Authoritarianism is fully welcomed with open arms.
So all you can do is at elections to our long list of ETTD casualties.
