Those things wildly unpopular among Republicans? All those Red State If they’re catastrophic for America, the only failing I see is that a party with control of the house, senate
People like free sh*t. Once the government gives the free sh*t away it is political suicide to take it back.
This is why it's destructive to give the free sh*t away to buy votes and it's always the Democrats giving away the free sh*t to buy votes.
80% of the national debt is "free sh*t" Democrats gave away that never got paid for.
Trump: $2000 per person "economic stimulus checks" was him trying to give away free sh*t and buy votes.
Trump: No tax on tips is him trying to give away free sh*t and buy votes.
Anne Applebaum @anneapplebaum The first invasion of Russia since WW2 enters its second week. So far, the Ukrainians have taken more territory than the Russians have taken in all of 2024.
Anne Applebaum @anneapplebaum The first invasion of Russia since WW2 enters its second week. So far, the Ukrainians have taken more territory than the Russians have taken in all of 2024.
Wow.
You will fall for anything.
Appelbaum is a lying Zionist who is pushing for the US to send even more $$ and weapons to Ukraine.
His policies are good for America. Yours are bad for America.
I didn't go through ALL his policies, but here's a start. Pretty much every single one is terrible. Some are only pretty bad.
1. Unleash American Energy Under President Trump, the U.S. became the Number One Producer of Oil and Natural Gas in the World — and we will soon be again by lifting restrictions on American Energy Production and terminating the Socialist Green New Deal. Republicans will unleash Energy Production from all sources, including nuclear, to immediately slash Inflation and power American homes, cars, and factories with reliable, abundant, and affordable Energy.
So letting China become the world leader in clean energy production? Sounds like a terrible policy.
2. Rein in Wasteful Federal Spending Republicans will immediately stabilize the Economy by slashing wasteful Government spending and promoting Economic Growth.
The annual deficit nearly doubled in the first three years of Trump's presidency. He has no clue how to slash government spending.
3. Cut Costly and Burdensome Regulations Republicans will reinstate President Trump's Deregulation Policies, which saved Americans $11,000 per household, and end Democrats’ regulatory onslaught that disproportionately harms low- and middle-income households.
Can I build a coal burning power plant right next to Mar-a-lago?
4. Stop Illegal Immigration Republicans will secure the Border, deport Illegal Aliens, and reverse the Democrats’ Open Borders Policies that have driven up the cost of Housing, Education, and Healthcare for American families. How has having people doing low-wage work driven up the cost of housing, education, or healthcare? Note, CBP encounters increased each of the first three years of Trump's presidency.
5. Restore Peace through Strength War breeds Inflation while geopolitical stability brings price stability. Republicans will end the global chaos and restore Peace through Strength, reducing geopolitical risks and lowering commodity prices. How?
1. Secure the Border Republicans will restore every Border Policy of the Trump administration and halt all releases of Illegal Aliens into the interior. We will complete the Border Wall, shift massive portions of Federal Law Enforcement to Immigration Enforcement, and use advanced technology to monitor and secure the Border. We will use all resources needed to stop the Invasion— including moving thousands of Troops currently stationed overseas to our own Southern Border. We will deploy the U.S. Navy to impose a full Fentanyl Blockade on the waters of our Region—boarding and inspecting ships to look for fentanyl and fentanyl precursors. Before we defend the Borders of Foreign Countries, we must first secure the Border of our Country.
CBP encounters increased each of the first three years of Trump's presidency, so these policies didn't work the first time they tried them. Is Mexico going to pay for the wall still? Or is that now officially on the American taxpayer to build and maintain indefintely. So instead of dealing with kidnappings, domestic terrorism, etc... they're all going to do immigration enforcement? The Posse Comitatus Act forbids the use of military in civilian law enforcement, except in a few circumstances, so it's not clear what all those troops will be doing on the southern border.
2. Enforce Immigration Laws Republicans will strengthen ICE, increase penalties for illegal entry and overstaying Visas, and reinstate “Remain in Mexico” and other Policies that helped reduce Illegal Immigration by historic lows in President Trump’s first term. We will also invoke the Alien Enemies Act to remove all known or suspected gang members, drug dealers, or cartel members from the United States, ending the scourge of Illegal Alien gang violence once and for all. We will bring back the Travel Ban, and use Title 42 to end the child trafficking crisis by returning all trafficked children to their families in their Home Countries immediately.
More big government!
3. Begin Largest Deportation Program in American History President Trump and Republicans will reverse the Democrats’ destructive Open Borders Policies that have allowed criminal gangs and Illegal Aliens from around the World to roam the United States without consequences. The Republican Party is committed to sending Illegal Aliens back home and removing those who have violated our Laws.
Cost? Hundreds of billions of dollars. Effectiveness? Dubious.
4. Strict Vetting Republicans will use existing Federal Law to keep foreign Christian-hating Communists, Marxists, and Socialists out of America. Those who join our Country must love our Country. We will use extreme vetting to ensure that jihadists and jihadist sympathizers are not admitted.
"foreign Christian-hating Communists, Marxists, and Socialists"? Weren't Melania's parents Yoguslavian Communists that used chain-immigration to become US citizens?
5. Stop Sanctuary Cities Republicans will cut federal Funding to sanctuary jurisdictions that release dangerous Illegal Alien criminals onto our streets, rather than handing them over to ICE. We will require local cooperation with Federal Immigration Enforcement.
State's rights? No.
6. Ensure Our Legal Immigration System Puts American Workers First Republicans will prioritize Merit-based immigration, ensuring those admitted to our Country contribute positively to our Society and Economy, and never become a drain on Public Resources. We will end Chain Migration, and put American Workers first!
Weren't Melania's parents Yoguslavian Communists that used chain-immigration to become US citizens?
1. Cut Regulations Republicans will slash Regulations that stifle Jobs, Freedom, Innovation and make everything more expensive. We will implement Transparency and Common Sense in rulemaking.
Again, can I now build a coal burning power plant right next to Mar-a-lago?
2. Make Trump Tax Cuts Permanent and No Tax on Tips Republicans will make permanent the provisions of the Trump Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that doubled the standard deduction, expanded the Child Tax Credit, and spurred Economic Growth for all Americans. We will eliminate Taxes on Tips for millions of Restaurant and Hospitality Workers, and pursue additional Tax Cuts.
Yay! More national debt!
3. Fair and Reciprocal Trade Deals Republicans will continue forging an America First Trade Policy as set forth in Chapter 5, standing up to Countries that cheat and prioritizing American Producers over Foreign Outsourcers. We will bring our critical Supply Chains back home. President Trump turned American Trade Policy around, protecting U.S. Producers, and renegotiating failed agreements.
Sounds like a ticket to inflation to me.
4. Reliable and Abundant Low Cost Energy Republicans will increase Energy Production across the board, streamline permitting, and end market-distorting restrictions on Oil, Natural Gas, and Coal. The Republican Party will once again make America Energy Independent, and then Energy Dominant, lowering Energy prices even below the record lows achieved during President Trump’s first term.
Making sure the US isn't competitive in green energy in the future!
5. Champion Innovation Republicans will pave the way for future Economic Greatness by leading the World in Emerging Industries. Crypto Republicans will end Democrats’ unlawful and unAmerican Crypto crackdown and oppose the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency. We will defend the right to mine Bitcoin, and ensure every American has the right to self-custody of their Digital Assets, and transact free from Government Surveillance and Control. Artificial Intelligence (AI) We will repeal Joe Biden’s dangerous Executive Order that hinders AI Innovation, and imposes Radical Leftwing ideas on the development of this technology. In its place, Republicans support AI Development rooted in Free Speech and Human Flourishing. Expanding Freedom, Prosperity and Safety in Space Under Republican Leadership, the United States will create a robust Manufacturing Industry in Near Earth Orbit, send American Astronauts back to the Moon, and onward to Mars, and enhance partnerships with the rapidly expanding Commercial Space sector to revolutionize our ability to access, live in, and develop assets in Space.
Crypo, seriously? In June, 2021 Trump said: "Bitcoin, it just seems like a scam. I don't like it because it's another currency competing against the dollar." In 2019 he said, "Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity."
How much will it cost to send American astronauts to mars?
1. Housing Affordability To help new home buyers, Republicans will reduce mortgage rates by slashing Inflation, open limited portions of Federal Lands to allow for new home construction, promote homeownership through Tax Incentives and support for first-time buyers, and cut unnecessary Regulations that raise housing costs.
How is he going to slash inflation? So pay off student load debt bad, paying off mortgages good?
2. Accessible Higher Education To reduce the cost of Higher Education, Republicans will support the creation of additional, drastically more affordable alternatives to a traditional four-year College degree.
So paying off student loans bad. Spending billions and billions of dollars creating alternatives to college and then paying people to attend is good.
3. Affordable Healthcare Healthcare and prescription drug costs are out of control. Republicans will increase Transparency, promote Choice and Competition, and expand access to new Affordable Healthcare and prescription drug options. We will protect Medicare, and ensure Seniors receive the care they need without being burdened by excessive costs.
How?
4. Lower Everyday Costs Republicans will reduce the Regulatory burden, lower Energy costs, and promote Economic Policies that drive down the cost of living and prices for everyday goods and services.
So he wants deflation? Or does he not know what words mean.
Now do the Democrats policies and compare the two.
I'd go through your list but your first claim is so completely idiotic it would be a waste of time.
"So letting China become the world leader in clean energy production? Sounds like a terrible policy."
China permitted the equivalent of two new coal plants a week last year according to a new report. The country is also rapidly expanding its renewable energy.
China doesn't give a sh*t about climate change. No US policy is going to change that.
The idea that the 3rd world is going to choose to remain poor and continue heating their homes by burning literal sh*t to appease the concerns of leftists in DC and NY and London and Paris is absolutely idiotic nonsense.
Republicans have had the political power many times between 1935 and 2024. If the Republicans had the political will to do away with it they would have.
They get more mileage convincing fools like you that it's the boogie man. They do the same thing with immigration.
Anne Applebaum @anneapplebaum The first invasion of Russia since WW2 enters its second week. So far, the Ukrainians have taken more territory than the Russians have taken in all of 2024.
Wow.
You will fall for anything.
Appelbaum is a lying Zionist who is pushing for the US to send even more $ and weapons to Ukraine.

Taking away the free sh*t is political suicide.
Why is this so confusing for you?
Politicians won't throw themselves out of office they will kick the can down the road.
It's not a "boogie man" we're $36 TRILLION in debt.
We are now paying a TRILLION a year just in interest on the debt.
The Democrat mayors of sanctuary cities aren't complaining about being flooded with too many illegals and calling the influx unsustainable because they're lying about a right wing boogey man.
Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps.... on and on and on.
Well meaning programs designed by morons with absolutely zero forethought or consideration of anything beyond the next election.
Social Security is a ponzi scheme sh*t show and it won't have any money by the time I retire.
And it's cute that you hate Ayn Rand solely because you've heard other people say they hate her.
Ayn Rand was a stupid, hypocrite, that didn't understand the things she railed against. Not surprised that you find her profound.
It was fashionable amongst faux-cons in the 90s and 00s to name drop Ayn Rand. In fact, that's how you could identify a faux-con - "Who is your favorite author? "Ayn Rand." They were all lying like a slurring WinSmith because no one, except the most diehard inquiring reader, has ever read more than a few chapters of an Ayn Rand novel without thinking "WTF? Wake me up when it's over." Rand was like The Grateful Dead of political fiction. Few neophytes have ever listened to all of that mind-numbing, endlessly banal sh!t, but many happily say they have.
You idiots said McCain was a nazi... Let's not pretend your devotion to your cult has anything at all to do with principles.
But we can say he's not a war hero, right? We can bash on him for getting captured, right?
Hey, but let's not deflect, let's not shy away. We all DI remember the widespread and intense campaign to label JOHN McCAIN A NAZI, right ??? It's like historical and famous. I remember it like it happened yesterday. So sad. And WAY more famous than Trump mocking him and all POWs.
Another bad news cycle for the Trumpers. Denture Don slurs his way through an "interview" with fanboy Elon Musk, who is actually even more unpopular than Trump, if that's possible. Yes, it got a lot of views (including me), but remember, people are oddly fascinated by a train wreck, and the Trump Train is sliding off the rails and heading over the edge of a precipice as we speak.
But we can say he's not a war hero, right? We can bash on him for getting captured, right?
Hey, but let's not deflect, let's not shy away. We all DO remember the widespread and intense campaign to label JOHN McCAIN A NAZI, right ??? It's like historical and famous. I remember it like it happened yesterday. So sad. And WAY more famous than Trump mocking him and all POWs.

China produces almost 80% of the solar panels in the world.
BYD is now sells the most EVs in the world. I was in Rwanda recently and saw multiple BYD cars and ZERO Teslas. In 20 years, when every American car manufacturer is trying to limp by with bad gas guzzlers that they can only sell in the US and the rest of the world has moved on, blame Trump.
His policies are backwards looking. The world is moving forward and he's stuck in 1970.
He should be pushing EV adoption. He should be pushing for improvements in battery technology. He should be pushing for improvements in solar panel technology and working to bring solar production to the US. There's immense opportunity to make the US a leader in the technologies that are going to power the future. He had the chance to do it in 2016 and didn't. He has a chance to do it now, but would rather pander to his base.
