Probably not. The mileage might even increase because Mimi is finished with the Rockies and is moving towards the Plains.

Maybe the boots can work as a tag team. Random joining her should also be done--surprise!!
Hopefully the boots post their GPS, and upload to Strava, then compared. That level proof will partly make up for the lack of real-time GPS being provided by Mimi. It seems no one has joined her for any part of her first 2000 km.

It's not Sandy's fault. She is doing fine, actually great for the short time she is running ultras. Her fans are just delusional when it comes to her performance.
Her average mileage is down to 52.3 miles. Which is really good.

Yes, Mimi is also carrying a GPS tracker. It is what shows on the homepage of her run across America website. As previously posted, GPS trackers can easily be spoofed. For example, Garmin Inreach GPS trackers use a web API that anybody with a computer that spoof GPS data to.
For Strava data, I have made a demonstration spoof where I ran a mile in 3 min 30 sec on the track, obliterating the previous world record:

First off, nice job on the exercise and bringing this to awareness. I can't seem to get the Mimi tracking thing to work. Are you saying her GPS tracker is NOT updating real-time, like SandraVi's Garmin, or are you saying the data can even be spoofed in-situ, to give the appearance of real-time tracking?
Mimi's GPS tracker only updates every XX minutes. It doesn't update as frequently as Sandra's Garmin Inreach.
Both these types of GPS trackers can be spoofed to give the illusion of real time tracking because all they do is send GPS coordinates back to a web server and there is nothing to authenticate the GPS coordinates. Any programmer could create an app to spoof GPS coordinates and send it back on a web request. I don't think Sandra or Mimi are cheating, but rather this is an issue that the running community in general are not aware of enough.

She does not have a real time GPS tracker on her homepage. But real time data is not there. If you can find that please let us know where it is.
What I see is that Mimi has a Google map with position points that are updated every few minutes (10 minutes?) but the positions do not change very often. She has state border drop pins on her map. To the side of the map she has a link to her Strava data, data which she uploads after a run is done, or until internet can be found. Next to the Strava date is a "Stats" tab. Her plan is to run 53 days for 2850 miles, which is just under 54 miles per day. She is well ahead of that pace. And she has an overall time tracker. Nothing real time.

I want to be clear on this point, because I haven't gotten real-time updates of her data to work. So you are agreeing that 'every few minutes' data ARE NOT being upload during the data, as the points are being recorded? Or they are?
