Adams wont make it
Adams wont make it
10k and 8k are basically the same, and regionals is at sea level, reducing westerns advantage on teams training at a lower elevation compared to conference at altitude, and clearly western ran well, mines ran poorly, so your wrong
Western traditionally peaks better than Mines though...
plus Western's top 2 guys still weren't quite at full strength from their injuries earlier in the year.
you'll see
My name is Jerry and I'm going to lick your butt hole is you run for Western State or Adams State.
No I'm not wrong. I'll be wrong if Mines does make it a close race. However, I am predicting that it won't be. If I'm wrong I'll admit it but I'm sure as hell not wrong when the race hasn't been ran yet. In 2005 Adams was beating Western at the 8k mark. At the finish of the race Western beat them handily. If you don't think an extra 2k makes a difference you are ignorant. Especially considering Westerns previous history with the longer races.
On another note. Will Adams run their top 7?
western's tradition is gone, they have a new coach so you gotta wait a few years to prove that, and mines hasnt been a national qualifying team for very long so you have nothing to back up your statement
Western has lost some talent at the very top due to some injuries and some who quit. The athletes who left were talented athletes with no heart. They always blame others rather than looking within themself for success. Western has been very tough for 30 years, that has not disappeared overnight.
bump
article about sru and reagan on trackshark right now
does anyone know if Tim Hamilton for WSC is hurt or what? if he is 1/2 the runner Joel was for CSM, we should be hearing about him.

Anyone want to post regional results and comments? I've only seen the Western regional results which were sort of inaccurate because they raced about 16k.
Told ya!
I would say Chico gets 10th. Hell yeah top 10 baby
Hamilton is running for WSC, probably redshirting like all the freshman do there. Heard he's gonna be pretty good though.
Where's the troll who said Mines would be closer to Western at regionals??
RMACS: WSC-49 Mines-81 (32 point difference)
Regionals: WSC-52 Mines-115 (63 point difference)
Hmmm... Nice call genius... Please come back, be man, and admit that you are stupid and that you were so wrong that you deserve to be forced to spend the rest of your life in the hell hole known as Alamosa.
Did the regionals results change anyones picks for top 10?
1 Adams
2 Abilene
3 Harding
4 Queens
5 Western
6 Chico
7 Alaska
8 UMASS
9 Grand Valley
10 Southern Indiana
11 Mines
Why does chico and Alaska move down based on this weekends regionals? there is absolutely no way you can move them up or down because the entire regionals was f***ed up. They should stay the same because you can not make any assumptions based off of their results.

My Placing of Alaska and Chico was not based off their regional results. I just placed them based off what they have done in the past and what they have done this season.
