Seeing Peres Jepchirchir grit it out on a track finale for the marathon was outstanding after years of injury and not great performances. Love the return to the stadium for the marathon. And impressed that Susanna Sullivan got it almost just right. 2:25 was the sweet spot. She would've medaled with that. 4th is amazing for any American. Hope the men do something tomorrow.

every other race Peres has won and 3rd in London in 2023 was nowhere near a bad performance
