It’s a goat level performance if it were over a suitable period of time. Unfortunately he couldn’t sustain such a level of play beyond 2023. Had he… we wouldn’t be having this debate
He won what 3 different slams, went to the final in another slam and won the Olympic Gold in what? 18 months? At age 36/37? Thats a great career for anyone. In fact, off the top of my head, only two other men in history have won individual Olympic gold and 3 different slams in their entire career.
Another example of the GOAT being the GOAT. Thanks for brining it up.

I remember him losing that Grand Slam at Wimbledon and then watching him win the next very next one in New York. Wild times.
Restriction is correct. There’s nobody that lived in the modern world who’s life didn’t have some level of restriction during the covid era. For once in this entire thread you are right.
1.5 million dead Americans or so. Did people live thru restrictions during WWII?
I am not the one boomer-ranting about “WWII” in a thread about tennis
It’s a great point. Winning all of the slams and an Olympic gold really narrows the field, doesn’t it??? Plus, unlike Djokovic, none of them had to deal with Covid, lol, in its first or subsequent iterations.
I thought Covid was no big deal? Interesting change of tack here
Nope, no change of tack. Covid wasn’t a big deal, but Djokovic was kept out of a few majors because of his correct stance. You are being deliberately obtuse. You are the 🐐 of complete bull$hit too.

He was full speed ahead on the GOAT train
until the “unexplained illness” derailed it
Two shots and he would be the undisputed GOAT.
Speaking of GOATs. I remember a pretend GOAT. I remember LeBron getting covid. Hasn’t won a championship since. 5 years at this point. Stats in heavy decline ever since. Just padding career stats. You gotta take him out of the conversation of GOAT, right?

Wow. Someone lost and then won. Wild
excellent contribution
No. He lost. Then he won against the guy he lost to. Then won the next grand slam in his next match. Then he won the next two he entered. Then he made the semi final of the next grand slam, before having to bow out of his match the following grand slam. Why? Because he had to have knee surgery. Taking his time to get back, he made the final of the very next slam on the calendar. His next tournament, you guessed it. The Olympic gold. Take about a “stately, elegant normal decline”. But here he is, still having fun playing kids down to the semis. But I also hoped Eliud picked up gold in Paris, you love to see the old guys mixing it up against the odds. But you keep that hate in your heart buddy.
I know I called him out and goaded him into at least putting up a fight. Yesterday he did for the first time. That ended up being a complete failure for him He was quickly exposed as just a dead gorilla who knows very little about tennis. He needs to go back to “trust me, bro.” That was a much better defense than the absolute garbage that he spewed yesterday. It was an embarrassment.
Harambe, please go back to non-answers and “trust me, bro.” It’s much better than your effort yesterday. lol
Wow, that dude absolutely cratered. I’ve enjoyed watching him embarrass himself over the years. But this thread is just 🤌. He doesn’t even know what he’s trying to argue anymore. He’s even proven your own points for you. He’s confirmed he’s a man of no conviction, arguing who isn’t the GOAT across multiple sports, yet never having the courage to make a case himself for his own thoughts on the matter. Never having to stand up and make a statement and back it up with thought and reason. What an absolute coward.
Contrarian, that’s all he is. It’s easy to argue endlessly when you don’t believe anything and move the goal posts every time a point is made. Well done on making that fool chase his own tail here. I’ve never seen him sputter and spew with such a lack of ability to assert himself. He has lost this argument countless times over the years, but hats off to you, I’ve never seen him so flustered and give such lackluster responses. I look forward to his response the same way I did back in august of 2024. A post full of nothing punctuated with I’m so smart that of course I’m right, results be damned.
Yep, it’s pretty fun to watch him take the abuse. Amazing that a person has both the time and willingness to keep at it. Screams trust fund baby, which would explain a whole lot, but, I am not convinced that he’s not the exercise “science” PhD, which is really pathetic if true.

Knee surgery. After an unexplained illness?
I wonder if there’s anything known to cause connective tissue problems

So telling your only response is a canned idiotic response you’ve tried for years. Do better. Name your GOATs you bum.
Literally gave a tournament by tournament overview. You left a stupid one sentence auto response you’ve tried for years. Try harder
You didn’t disprove it. The dude got an unexplained illness and he’s been fighting poor play and injuries since then. His worst series of results ever.
All off a legendary 2023. Doesn’t make sense… unless….
