Who was saying in the fall of 2023 or even halfway through the year Kelce was toast?
Are you able to answer my question?
I’ve repeatedly stated my opinion. Yes, I think it’s ridiculous to compare Kelce’s 2024 decline to certain posters observation on Novak’s 2024. That is as plain as day. So now can you answer mine. Who said Kelce’s career would be at this point at the beginning of this season? No one was saying in 2023 Kelsey is done. Absolutely no one.

Kelce's decline didn't start in 2024. You've said so yourself.

Now we’re getting to the brass tax. You agree that his decline aligns with his sponsorship agreements and there is likely a correlation.
Fellas, is predicting something a month after it happens the same as predicting something almost a year before it happens?
Well, seeing as how neither of these things occurred, I’m not sure why you’re pounding the table on this.
For those playing at home, contrary to what Harambe said, Novak did not have a slide in late 2023. He won the ATP Masters in mid-November and then focused on his big Olympic year in 2024. It is true that he got a flu during the Australian Open in January 2024 and bowed out in the semifinal to a convicted doper in Jannik Sinner. Harambe immediately pounced and proudly proclaimed Djokovic had “long Covid” right after that happened.
Djokovic, ever focused on Olympic gold, the crowning achievement for his career, pulled out of the Paris Open. He did, however, make the Wimbledon final and win the Olympic gold medal. Neither one of those things would’ve been possible if a person was truly suffering long Covid. It’s as if we are sitting here pretending Djokovic made every grand slam final he ever played in and, even more ridiculously, won them all. When none of that ever happened.
I previously proclaimed that Djokovic would retire by 38 at the latest. Pro tennis players are usually done at 35. If Djokovic retires this year or next, am I going to come on here and proudly proclaim what a genius I am? Of course not. I don’t know why liberals on here like Harambe carry on with the schadenfreude. It, along with a partisan and ethically bankrupt media, undermined public health and trust in the three-letter agencies. It also lost them an election. But they continue to double down. Boggles the mind.
FINALLY!!! Unity and agreement on this thread! Finally we can all come together and say the morons who throw around stupid things like Kelce has long vax and Novak has long covid are utterly beyond repair. Any intelligent human can see this from a mile away. Just stupid arguments repeated ad nauseam that are nothing but obvious lies. One pathetic poster in particular makes it his mission to do only that. The lowest common denominator.
That said, I’m satisfied in our interaction. As stated before I apologize for confusing you with another poster earlier. No harm meant and admitting I’ve made a mistake is easy to do. Have a blessed day my friend!

I'm not interested in your crusade against other posters. I was merely responding to the nonsense you were using to disagree with both athletes being in decline and treating them differently.

Oh, super! Any chance we can get back to the thread's actual topic?

We can continue to disagree on our original timeline comments. I referenced a Chris Collinsworth observation from sept 2024 and the outcome of the remainder of that season and Super Bowl. You referenced harambes prediction from January of 2024 and then spoke about September 2024 onwards. Thats different. Isn’t it? Like you forgot about those nine months and are only considering the six months after he won the Olympics and basically barely played any tournaments.
I am not going to continue to argue that point though. Cheers mate

You didn’t have to go so light on how much he was wrong but good summary.
The wildest thing of it all is that he had to be so stupid regarding all of it. He clearly wasn’t educated on tennis. He clearly piled on for his same stupid reasons as always. It was the weirdest thing to dig his heels on. Like just stick to something you can actually argue. I remember after the Olympics wondering what this dope would say. He said he was glad Novak had finally recovered from long covid. 🤣🤣🤣
Another miraculous prediction. This time for winning gold. And like only he could do. After the fact!
Won’t be long before he’s saying of course it was from a lab

I did not "forget" about those 9 months. Both athletes are clearly in decline despite an outstanding performance in the biggest moment during that decline. You've admitted as much.

I never at any point said Kelce had an outstanding performance. But Novak in no way declined in 2024 in the same way as Kelce did. Thats not even comparable.
