Just getting up to date on my aus ultra running history and saw this on Cliffy Young’s wiki entry about his Westfield victory;
“All six competitors who finished the race broke the old record. Upon being awarded the prize of A$10,000 (equivalent to $36,011 in 2022), Young said that he did not know there was a prize and that he felt bad accepting it, as each of the other five runners who finished had worked as hard as he did—so he split the money equally between them, keeping none.[11]”
It's ok to say you don't know & were wrong in your past comments without being sexist. Good Night Verified Aaron Judge I hope you sleep well xx
Might I add, the fact that you think being called a chick is sexist means you think being referred to as female means you’re lesser of a person than if Verified called you a dude.
Verified Aaron Judge assumed my gender which I didn't like, nothing to do with your hyperbole xx
He could have done it here on the M7 shared path, 5 miles out, 5 miles back. I would have even provided drinks for him, seriously.
A while back I was doing a saturday evening run on the M7 path, came across a guy finishing a solo 'iron man' tri distance for charity. I chatted to them, the genuine no frills no big deal people doing it for a real cause, got home, showered, donated to charity and joined them at the wrap up at a hotel nearby.
I have no problem with genuine people using our sport to make the world a better place. Just have a problem with clandestine operations, where the charity ends up with some (that's good) but the mission is that the person doing it gets recognition and fame.
If you do it by promoting a lie, misrepresentation, false goal call it what you will , it is the same scam that Belle Gibson (look her up) got convicted for. You can run 1000miles if you want, but one falsely used cancer and one falsely attracted followers with an impossible goal. Both contributed to charity, and both made more for themselves personally.
You can quote my post without referring to me as your sexual partner. xx Sammy boy
Still trolling 'maaate'...hilarious that you refer to your sexual partner that way though, but who am I to judge..."not that ther's anything wrong with that" :-)

Faking to have cancer for personal gain and attempting to run 1000 miles for a verified charity supporting the homeless (can't believe I have to explain this) are two completely different things Sam.

So where is the tracking system per lap data for Kouros? Where is the GPS track for Kouros? You demand things of Nedd you don't demand of Kouros
They counted each mile loop in front of many people. Why are you trolling?
Not only were laps counted, the time for each is recorded by the lap scorer.
Ancillary notes would have been routinely added by the lap scorer, eg. when the runner leaves and returns to the course for a rest or toilet break, annotations of times recorded at intermediate landmark distances (1000km would be 621 x 1 mile laps +811 metres), etc.
Essentially, the runner's lap score sheets are compiled to form a witnessed written ledger of the runner's performance, documenting every mile, (or every 400 metres if the race is conducted on a standard track).
As I posted earlier, prior to electronic systems, manual lap scoring was labour intensive, but accurate.

I think that is pretty obvious wasn't it. My point was not a comparison , but that both were raising an audience and money on false pretences
It's still looking possible to be sub 12 days, which is far in excess of my expectations.
I'm very curious about the medical assistance which has enables him to be resurrected from the dead the last 2 days.
No compliance with any record criteria, no other competitors, you'd need to be a complete mental midget to think this is anything more than a vanity project masked by charity.

You’d have to assume he’s probably got IV drips in there; maybe taking modafinal or something. He seems to spontaneously turn into Lazarus every 48 hours
